Mia Secret Acrylic Dip System Brush on Gel, Glue & Resin Activator, Clear

I have been doing my own nails for over 45 years, before it was a common thing to have done. Back when I first started, it cost $60-$100 to get a new set. I refused to pay for something I felt I could learn to do. I have almost tried every brand out there, acrylic powder, acrylic liquid, gel brush on etc, etc. I look for ease of use, convenient, quick, professional looking, smooth nails without excessive filing, lasting, easy fill-in, and most of all... looking natural. This is by far the BEST and rates the highest in all categories I evaluate. For anyone doing nails the first time, it gets easier and they look better as one learns the technique that works best for them. The plus buying the application separate from nails, is one can purchase large quantities of whatever length tip they prefer. If a person wants extremely long nails, they should start with a short active length and work up to long. It's important to learn how to pick items up, open cans, type etc without nails breaking or being an obstacle. I do every length and shape, for variety. The pictures are the length and shape that are most standard for me. I might do active length if I know I'll be gardening, or extremely long for an elegant event. This application is well worth the cost and provides multiple applications, whether filling in or changing length. Personally, I prefer my nails to grow out and once my artificial nails begin loosening, it's time to redo them. Be good to your nails, don't yank artificial nails off and damage natural nails. Treat artificial and natural nails well. Don't reglue on an entire artificial nail back on, it can lead to a fungal infection. That hint of green on nails must be resolved prior to placing new artificial nails or the natural nails could come off. In the 45 plus years I've done my own nails, I've had 2 fungal infections. I'm giving a lot of information. I don't want new users expecting perfection with the first time. I will say, if a person is new at doing artificial nails, this product is the easiest to use with the best results. The last comment is polish stays on so much better without chipping and flaking. For the best wear and look, use a base coat, polish color (decorations if you want them) and finish with a top coat every time nails are painted.

I’m a nail tech and I swear by this product for the longevity of my crystals. I ordered 2 because I never want to be without it. Trying to be ahead, and im still behind. This is the second time I’ve ordered and received empty resin activator. The bottle is completely empty and was wasted throughout the box. Very unsatisfied!

I love this stuff! YouTube comments led me here and I’m glad it did. This pandemic has a lot of us doing our own nails. I like nails to look pretty and blinged out so I swung for the fence and started practicing putting stones on. You have just a few seconds before your stone is set in place and when I say “set,” I mean SET! I use the spray now only when I want to speed the process along. This stuff does have a smell to it but it’s not overpowering. Thing is, I don’t have a sensitive nose but if you can tolerate a nail salon smell, this is nothing. The picture is of one of my first nails I practiced on and that’s with a shaky hand, lol. I look forward to getting better and this glue set is going to help me get there! There’s a YouTuber named Vanity Val that now uses this glue. She used to use the pot but said it got too messy over time and started taking too long to dry. If you’re in search of a good glue, get this! You won’t regret this set.

I used this with nail tips and acrylic powder. I have never used an activator spray before so that was a new experience. I have to say I prefer to use an activator with a brush. There waa a very strong odor when I sprayed the activator and it was a bit messy. So be sure to spray it onto a protected surface (cloth/paper towel) or in the air. Be sure to cover the nail surface you're spraying, so no powder/gel is left untouched. The gel resin was easy to apply and worked well with the Mia Secret Acrylic Powder. I purchased it separately. Barely any buffing was required. I believe this would be easy for beginners and would work well for anyone more experienced. Just make sure to clean up any excess gel to prevent any run over.

I just received my #miasecret #clearnailgelresin #nailgelresinactivator and I'm disappointed that half my activator is gone..... the top wasn't on there good ate up the bubble wrap, don't get me wrong mia secret is a very good product I love using it "not sure" if its Amazon or lack of the company not checking the products before shipping but something gotta change or I just try other brands or start shopping at warehouses for my nail supplies...... highly disappointed 🤦‍♀️🥺

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY THIS! Save yourself the money and time it takes for this to arrive (a whole month) and just go to Sally’s Beauty and get their products. This is the cheapest, worst product I ever bought for my nails. I purchased this because Sally’s nail glue was always making my acrylics pop off, so I was looking for something more durable, BIG mistake. They pop off easier than crappy nail glue from Walmart. The activator eventually starts working with the glue to create this sticky residue under your nails which eventually lifts off very easily. I was having to re-glue 3-5 nails a day with this stuff. Just save yourself the annoyance and buy something else!! Once I decided this product simply does not work, I popped off my acrylics in less than a minute to start a new set (with a different product!) Acrylics SHOULD NOT be able to pop off that easily. This products deserves negative starts but obviously that isn’t possible. I have to rate one star to post the review, but WOULD NOT give them ANY stars if possible.

I used this to adhere the jewels to my nail sets. This worked very well and lasts long. I also use it for other nail art and it works well with other 3D nail art. The only con is that after a while, the glue stuck the top closed. Now, it’s a constant struggle to open the glue bottle. It’s probably time I bought another bottle anyone. Worth the purchase!
