Vionic Women's Port Cali T-Strap Sandal - Ladies Demi Wedge Sandals with Concealed Orthotic Arch Support

Having to overhaul my shoe wardrobe due to plantar fascitiis and the related pain, I've been on the search for cute orthotic shoes. It seems this is most often an oxymoron. Vionics have been a huge help for me. Bottom line, when I wear them I have no pain. So, when I saw these (they don't look too grandma-y...no offense), I thought I'd give them a try. They are a bit tight in the toe box (as other reviewers point out) and slip a bit in the back, though it's not all that bad. Overall, I'm pleased with them. They are neutral enough to go with a lot of things (I got them in Taupe) and are relatively pretty, and quite comfortable. I also think the toe box will stretch a bit with longterm wear. In Vionic flip flops (of which I have 3 pairs) I wear an 8. I got these in an 8 1/2 due to some of the reviews and I think that was the best choice. In "normal" shoes, I have always worn an 8 1/2 so I guess that makes sense.

I am so impressed with these shoes. I normally wear an 8.5 D width, so I was hesitant to buy these since they are a C/D width, and because of all the reviews about how tight the shoe box was and how uncomfortably tight they fit some customers. I waited several months, and they kept popping up as a suggested buy for me, so I finally ordered them. When I first put my feet in them, they definitely felt snug, but not in an unpleasant way. More like the overall snugness you get with cozy house slippers. There is NO slippage on the heel, which sometimes happens with higher heel heights, and the shoe feels stable and completely comfortable. No "break-in" period was required, and these are high quality and well-constructed...an absolute steal at this price. The color is a bit more on the gray side (vice the beige hue that is shown in the picture), but that just makes them more versatile, as you can wear them with a larger palette of your wardrobe. I expect to wear these for many years to come.

I'm one of those old fashion people who prefer to go to a store (yes! I still go to the brick and mortar stores to do my shopping!) and try them on. I hate buying things online and then they not fit or have an issue with the item, and then have to try to return them. I decided to purchase the shoe because of the brand design and technology. I do think it fits better than other shoes I have purchased in the past. I wasn't sure whether I needed the M (medium) or W (wide) as some brands the M fits and some I need the W. So, I went with the W. It fits, but the toe area is a little big. I usually need it wider in the ankle area (which fits fine) than the toe area. Overall I'm happy with the fit and the way it looks.

I was worried that it's was going to hurt my toes, heels or somewhere but it didn't. I was able to wear it through the night. Also I'm already tall 5'8 my man is 5'9 and isn't crazy about me being taller than him but this wedge was perfect height!

This is the third pair of Vionics I've purchased...and the second pair I've returned. I evidently got very lucky with the first pair, and have struggled to find another good pair since. These fit fine, but after wearing them around my apartment for an hour, I could tell they wouldn't work. I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and it was flairing up after a short time—and that was just walking around my apartment. Sadly, it seems all Voinics aren't made equal.

I have feet and health issues but am 24. I finally found a pair of sandals I can where that make it so I don't feel embarrassed in grandmom sandals that are comfortable enough that they don't hurt my feet. I can't wear them all day with my standing job or my feet hurt but perfect for going out. Only cons are that they didn't come in a vionics box and they are way more difficult then usual to buckle.

I really like this sandal. The red is lighter than expected, but still pretty. The arch support is good, but you have to get used to it if you've never worn shoes with good support. The sandal is a versatile style for your wardrobe.

I love Vionic shoes and would have given this shoe a 5 but the center gold strap buckles. It is comfortable, fits well and looks nice but once you walk the decorative center strap doesn't lay flat.

Nice sandals and quite dressy but, unlike other Vionic sandals I own, they do not provide me with any arch support so, unfortunately, I am going to have to return them.
