Surprisingly Spacious and Well-Thought-Out!
I recently picked up the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, and I'm genuinely impressed. As someone who's struggled to find a sling that balances capacity with comfort and sleek design, this one hits the mark. I'm planning to use it for travel as my personal item and use my backpack as my carry-onPros:Surprisingly Spacious: 10L doesn't sound huge, but the clever internal organization and expandable design make it feel much larger. I can easily fit all my camera gear, Osmo Pocket 3, Canon M50, Insta360 and all the gear needed for chargingExcellent Organization: The internal dividers are customizable and well-padded, keeping my gear secure and organized. The quick-access front pocket is perfect for small essentials like keys and memory cards.Comfortable Carry: The padded strap and back panel make carrying a loaded sling comfortable, even for extended periods. The stability strap is also a great addition for active use.Premium Build Quality: As expected from Bellroy, the materials and construction are top-notch. The weather-resistant fabric gives me peace of mind in light rain.Sleek and Minimalist Design: It doesn't scream "camera bag," which is exactly what I wanted. It looks stylish and professional, making it suitable for both photography outings and everyday use.Quick Access: The top zipper allows for rapid access to my camera, which is crucial for capturing fleeting moments.Cons:Price: It's definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that. However, I believe the quality and design justify the cost.Stability Strap Placement: While the stability strap is useful, some people might find the placement a little awkward depending on their body type. This is very subjective.Limited side access: while the top access is amazing, there is not much side access.Overall:The Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L is a fantastic sling bag for photographers who value quality, organization, and a minimalist aesthetic. It's perfect for carrying a mirrorless setup and essential accessories. If you're willing to invest in a premium bag, I highly recommend it.

An almost perfect Mirrorless APSC camera bag
The size, design, materials, construction, and feel of carry are pretty much perfect. Can easily fit Fuji XE3 body with prime lens attached, plus two other primes or small zooms. Only bad points are the "tripod straps" which are too small and flimsy, and are attached awkwardly. Maybe you'll clip on a rolled up jacket, but not a tripod. The internal zip pocket needs some padding, as do the two end pockets. The battery pouches don't really hold my batteries in place, so I just let them be loose in the interior zip pouch. Wish both dividers has the built-in hinge, but in practice, they both fold down ok. No real way to carry a water bottle or small tablet, which is a bit of a bummer. For going out shooting with my XE3, this bag is pretty close to perfect, but it's missing just a few key features that keep it from being interchangeable as an everyday bag too. I think with one more design iteration, this bag could be absolutely perfect for casual everyday photography.

Doesn’t feel like 10L
Really wanted to like this sling bc it really does hug to your body and it designed very well. However, I just couldn’t get over the fact that this bag is advertised as a 10L bag, but fits less and is physically smaller than the Peak Design 10L (it feels as if it’s the same volume internally as the Peter McKinnon x Nomatic 8L sling). The dividers are a bit flimsy and can’t be removed, but do provide ample amounts of space between them. There’s no space for a tablet, which is another disappointment sadly (going back to the fact that this bag is advertised as a 10L, the PD can fit my iPad Pro or my MacBook Pro 14”).For anyone who is looking for a sling to daily carry or travel with a light kit, this could be a great option. Like mentioned above (and numerous time by others), the bag hugs your body very well and is very comfortable to carry around. It’s got a decent amount of space inside for a FF camera (best with lens detached if it’s a bigger lens) and can definitely fit an APS-C camera no problem.Sadly had to return this because of the sling not being quite as spacious as the PD 10L (either this sling is true 10L and the PD is just big, or this sling isn’t actually 10L in the main compartment).

Has so much potential to be great
First off, let me say that I love Bellroy and have owned the Bellroy Lite Sling Mini for over a year now. I just love the style so much because it actually looks like a sling bag whether it’s full or empty. I also own a Wandrd sling bag and that is just big no matter what you have in it. I liked the mini so much I decided to buy this for my Leica Q3 43.As others have stated there are just a number of glaring omissions that should have been addressed by now. First, there needs to be a carry handle on the top of the bag. It’s awkward using it without one. Second, there is a serious lack of pockets in a bag of this size. There could have been easily at least two or three more for storing small to larger items. The outside that faces toward your back is just a big empty space. It would have been nice to have a large pocket there to fit any number of flat items, from wallets and passports to iPad minis and phones. There is room inside for at least two more small pockets. Instead, I’ve got to just shove all my accessories in one of the two side divider areas.I really do love the quality of the bag from the fabric used to the high quality zippers. Although the buckle on the strap isn’t really a big deal to me, I can see why some people complain about it. Being plastic isn’t a huge deal, but it should be harder to release. I love that it has a tripod strap as well.
