GREAT, FANTASTIC MOLE TRAPS
BEST MOLE TRAP I EVER USED, AND I HAVE USED THEM ALL. I HAVE EVEN TRAPPED AND KILL SEVERAL GOPHERS. THE TRAPS DO NOT WORK EVERY TIME, BUT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND YOU WILL GET ALL MOLES IN THE YARD. I SET TWO TRAPS PER HOLE, ONE GOING FROM EACH DIRECTION, COVER BEHIND TRAPS AND WAIT A COUPLE OF DAYS. GENERALLY WILL GET ONE PER TRAP SET. AFTER CATCHING NO MOLES FOR A WEEK, I STOP SETTING THEM OUT UNTIL I SEE MORE SIGNS OF MOLES AGAIN. THE TRAPS ARE STRONG AND REQUIRE A LITTLE PRACTICE TO PERFECT THE BEST WAY TO PROCEED. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, NOT SO EASY WITH A MAN. I GOT 4 TRAPS, REMEMBER TWO TRAPS PER HOLE

It worked in 2 days
I live in an urban area with about 3000sg ft of lawn. We don't use any pesticides or herbicides and the moles seem to really like our lawn. We get moles every year. Kill one and another takes it place within a month or so.In the past I have used primarily the clam shell bypass style traps that required a cover over the top of trap. They have worked just OK. I felt lucky if I got one. The clamshells require a large hole and they leave quite a bit of damage to the yard from the hole you need to dig to set one in. I tried NoMole because you could cover the traps up with dirt. The moles I have are about the size of a small rat. They dig a hole about 1.5 inches in diameter. I had to widen the mole tunnel a little to get the trap to fit in. It took some tries to get the trap set into the tunnel without tripping the trap. I also roughed up the paint on the trap a little to get a little better friction to set the trap. I set a trap in each direction in the mole tunnel and covered it with dirt. I checked the traps on day 2 and had caught a mole. I think the NoMole works and like the fact that they can be set in the tunnel and you leave them and mow over the top if you want. I have used the clam shells for a number of years and they seem to not work when a mole comes trhough or the y seem to miss fire. My opinion for type of soil and size of moles in my yard, this is a good product.

You are smarter than the mole... Do your honework
This trap work. You have to be persistent and play with how to set it on the most sensitive setting. Keep playing with and use a piece of paper or something else to test how fast it snaps. You'll get it. Took me 3 weeks but I got it finally. I getting at least 4 mounds a day from just one mole. It's been a week and nothing. I suggest getting more than one set if you can afford and giving the mole less option of taking another route. All type traps work (Reason why they all have several 5 starts rating right?). You just have to determine which one suit the type of tunnel or mound you have. Surface tunnel style traps (scissors variation, harpoon/spikes types) work if you have shallow tunnel you can see. I didn't that's why the victor plunger and the wire Tek 1001 didn't work for me. These trap didn't reach the tunnel unless I did some digging, which end up disturbing the tunnel somehow, creating more work also. The cinch trap didn't work also because my tunnel openings were small (1 and half inch or less) and the cinch has at least 3 inch "pinchers", too big. So I had to make the openings bigger, disturbing the tunnel. Now the "in tunnel style traps like this one (Choker, trapeline, No-Mole etc...) work best if you can't see or find tunnels. Then find a fresh mound, clean the dirt on top and find out if it's the middle of a tunnel. Put two of these in there (facing opposite direction). All these traps do not work 100% off the time. The mole will throw dirt on it or the trap will go off and miss the mole. Set it again. And they all can be ajusted to d'une point on the most sensitive level. Some people grease them (wd40). Just try mixing things up a little and you too will be get the best of it. There are several videos on YouTube as well on each trap. Watch them for tips and tricks. That thing is not smarter than you. Lol. These things are said to be able to dig the size of a football field in 24 hours. It's worth the effort to save your yard. I didn't use the dowels provided. I found it easier to tie a rope at the round cycle on the back of the trap and tie the other end to a heavy or long object outside of the tunnel. And for those who have problems setting the trap you can buy a spring clamp at your local hardware store for $3 or less like the one in the picture. Helps a lot. Happy hunting.

Experienced mole trapper had issues with moles digging around and under the traps.
I wanted to try these traps as I had read multiple reviews that said they worked great, even though I was initially skeptical at the design. I caught a few moles here and there but most of the time the moles would dig around the trap, leaving it still set, not even firing it. Also, the moles would set the trigger off on occasion with no catches. I think these work in a perfect scenario, but mole trapping often doesn't work this way. I have never had so many traps set off without catching a mole. I wouldn't recommend this trap to anyone in any situation as there are much better options out there. The Victor Out O Sight is the best mole trap on the market as far as I'm concerned.

Not worth it
Waste of money. Weak grip strength and are kind of just silly to place and set, I tried it on moles and no luck they just got stuffed with dirt. If you have moles just get a gopher hawk or a regular scissor trap and for gophers just use the victor gopher cinch trap.

Best Mole Trap
After trying so many different methods of getting rid of moles, finally found something that works. These traps were easy to use. Just make sure to use the dowels so that you can easily locate the buried traps. Also don’t forget to be patient with this method, it will pay off in the end.
