not authentic matcha as you can tell by its colour but it wasn’t bad

Disappointed - really poor quality
Took a chance at changing brands to see if I could find a cheaper alternative as I drink matcha daily, and honestly, it wasn't worth the risk. You can tell the freshness/quality of matcha powder by the brightness of it's vibrant green, this batch was so poor its undrinkable. It has a almost yellow, dull pastel green, and is grainy - which you get with gone-off, poorly stored matcha. Grassy and grainy. Unless you're masking the taste in a protein shake with lots of other ingredients, I wouldn't recommend it. Even still, you're better off buying something of better quality. (Picture attached for ref. The pale green is this brand - the darker green is a higher quality one I'll be going back to going forward).

Not impressed
This matcha is no where near as green as the product photos show, it’s actually quite yellow/grey as opposed to traditional ceremonial matcha which is more of a vibrant green. The taste of this is VERY green tea-y, as opposed to other brands which has a more rounded earthy flavour with a hint of green tea. I ran out of my usual matcha so decided to try a new one but I’ll definitely be going back to my normal one (the one that a very popular chain coffee shop in London uses 🫐). Wouldn’t recommend sadly :(
