Carbide Bits are like Honey Badger
I'm a wood turner and primarily make pens. I enjoy working with wood and acrylics. Acrylic is super dense and I use carbide tipped bits because they keep an edge a lot longer. I keep a few extra of these bits around the shop so I can easily switch them out. When it's time, I sharpen them using a diamond stone & honing fluid. I originally ordered these for my finisher tool, however I discovered that used a Ci3, not a Ci0 bit. Basically I ordered these by mistake (my mistake). I took a closer look and noticed that they were a tad heavier so I threw one in the tool and hogged down not one but a few acrylic blanks for pens. These are like honey badger, it doesn't care. They do the job and do it well! If you run a very light pass across the work, it's very smooth and less work for sanding. Very very happy with these bits.

sharp
Better quality and sharpness - used this on my standard chisel - 1/2 inch a little large but screw holds it .Lasts longer.

Tough little inserts!
I use these for rough-turning very dry hardwoods, which usually dulls inserts pretty quick. Buy these are holding up well!
