Great buy!!
I really love this tea kettle! It’s well-made, sturdy, and heats up fast on the stovetop. The food-grade stainless steel feels high quality, and the 3.0-quart size is perfect for making multiple cups at once. The whistle is loud enough to hear from another room (which I appreciate), and the handle stays cool and comfortable to hold. I also love the classic look—it’s simple but still stylish enough to leave out on the stove. Overall, this is a great kettle for the price and works exactly as described. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Review
This item is sleek, beautiful and sturdy. My son loves making tea and I love that this kettle has the whistle feature. It is easy to clean since the opening is large enough for your hand. The handle does not hold heat so it is easy to use. Perfect for the price! I also love the button that you can use to open AND close the spout. Keeps from being able to accidentally get burnt.

This is a very good looking kettle. Very elegant
Wow. It isn't often that I'm blown away by a simple product like this. First of all it looks so luxurious. The red stands out against my black induction cook top. I get a lot of comments on how expensive and beautiful the teapot looks. It works very well on my induction cook top and I'm sure it will work the same on gas or electric stoves as well. The unit is well built and rugged. It is thick enough to be solid without being too heavy. There are thoughtful features like the silicone grip on the handle, inside the ring to open the fill cover and on the lever to open the pot to pour out the hot water. And the lever is well designed. Pull it up to open and it stays open until you push the silicone "button" on the top. So nice. Sized to hold enough water for tea for at least 4 cups. More if you really fill it. Heating it on high with about 18 oz of water brings the water to a boil in around 3 minutes.

DANGEROUS
Body isn’t made from sturdiest materials. But there’s worse out there. Lid discolors inside after just a few uses. Food grade shouldn’t do this. But I was living with all that. It’s not what prompted me to take time out to write this review. This teapot is dangerous. Every other use you must reach inside and hold each handle nut in place while maneuvering a small screwdriver into recess in handle and tightening each screw. Failing to be timely in doing so could land a pot full of boiling water down your frontside. I lifted the pot, nut popped off down into pot, screw went flying across the room, pot was hanging by one screw that had almost come loose. It was literally hanging by a couple threads. If not for that the entire pot would’ve dropped and I would’ve got scorched down my front side. Fortunately I was only splattered and not doused. Problem is there’s a lock washer beneath screw head, then a sort of collar washer that fits the screw tightly (keeping it from falling through hole) between that and the pot handle. Keeps screw from loosening but does nothing to stop nut from doing so. The screw hole is wider than the screw so once the nut drops there’s nothing holding the screw and thus the handle in place. Major design flaw that can’t be corrected without buying a micrometer to measure holes, and new screws and lock washers that must be bought in much larger quantities than needed. I’ll never have need for the excess hardware. And by time I purchase all that I’ll have spent nearly as much or possibly more than a new teapot costs. Hard to imagine how manufacturer didn’t catch this very basic design flaw. I have too many other matters to attend to be tightening the handle on this repeatedly. Doubtful manufacturer will bother reading this much less send corrected hardware. So, it’s yet another purchase that’ll wind up in the trash. I’ll probably go back to using my pour spout pan and timer.

I did Read the Reviews
This review is actually an update to one I wrote last night but must not have submitted. I bought the kettle despite having read the reviews...The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I was prepared for those issues some reviewers have experienced. Last night I wrote....No, it does not whistle. However, the kettle is so gorgeous and looks so lovely on my stove that I will be keeping it. When I put it to the test last night and it did not whistle, I had completely filled the kettle. This morning I put just 4 cups of water in it. It whistled just fine. And, in bright daylight, it still looks gorgeous.

It is great and adds that old fashion look
I was so excited when I opened my package and pulled out my red teapot. First thing that hit me was the sturdy feeling it had when I was washing it. It was not some flimsy material, and for $29.99 I was stunned. It now sits proudly on the back burner of my stove, (the smaller one) and I couldn't be happier. I hope my review helps make up someone's mind that this is not too good to be true, it is a product to test time. Can't wait to boil me some water and make some cocoa. Enjoy!!

Sooo pretty, the red & gold are stunning!
This tea kettle is absolutely GORGEOUS! The red is so bright and vibrant, and the red and gold together are just so pretty. I got this kettle for Christmas to go with my kitchen decor, and it definitely did not disappoint. It’s also bigger than I expected, which was such a nice surprise. The quality is amazing, it feels sturdy, well made, and not cheap at all. It looks beautiful on my stove and instantly adds a festive, elegant touch to my kitchen. If you’re looking for a kettle that’s both functional and decorative, this one is perfect. I’m so happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it!
