It works great.

We are installing a number of these on our heavy equipment and the golf carts we use got get around the 10 acre industrial yard. It provides safety and convenience, drawing attention to equipment and carts that are running. Safety first. Such an inexpensive way to alert equipment in use. Priceless for $13. but the unexpected economic benefit: we can instantly see every piece of equipment that has the battery switch is turned on. This flasher light draw a small fraction of an amp, but warns us so no equipment is ever left draining the battery on over night. This is the end of dead batteries, and deep discharge battery damage. Big costs for a large fleet. $10K per year in battery replacement and thousands in labor for jump starts, for us. Good investment for $13. We are adding these lights to every machine. Installed a dozen so far. Buy it with confidence.

The original yellow flasher for this 36V forklift was based on a Xenon Strobe Tube driven by a high frequency inverter drive circuit. I believe the driver portion was still good, but the Xenon strobe bulb had a mechanical failure. Cost would be $40 minimum to replace just the bulb and over $60 for the full same design replacement. This LED version flasher has EXACTLY the same dimensions, works on 36V, and had a bargain price of $15. Why not take a chance on it! EASY install and it does the job. Some complain that it is not as bright as the Xenon strobe type. That may be true, but it IS bright enough for our forklift application during the day. Some here feel it is almost too bright for night use, but I think it is perfect.

Mounted on a Lexan plate with a strap to fasten to truck extended load. Added 25 ft power cable terminated with vehicle power outlet male plug. Works great when strapped to extended load.

brighter than expected works good

This is the perfect one and it should meet your county regulations for UTV/golfcart/ATV driving on or near local roads, but check your local ordinances. It is bright, and makes your vehicle clearly visible. What I like is it hooks directly up and only does the strobe, no programming or 30 strobe options. You just wire it however you want to (switch or ignition).

I installed this to improve visibility while snowblowing with a lawn tractor near the roadside. I soldered on a weatherpack connector to switched power and the light immediately starts strobing as soon as it receives power. Hardware is provided for mounting (machine screws and nuts). Time will tell regarding durability.

I ordered 8 of these lights. The lights work great, and are easy to install and set up. They could be a bit brighter for daylight use, but overall very good value
