Best crimping tool for fishing
I find using crimps easier and more sturdy than tying fishing knots on anything heavier that 20 lb mono or flouro line. You can set up your tools in front of the TV and get a ton of cheap leaders made during the course of a movie.I initially bought one of the large red-handled crimpers, but those don't have a slot for super small crimp sleeves and you also have to crimp twice on each crimp to cover the full width. They are large and unwieldy to deal with, especially since the area you're focusing on is so small. These little crimpers are SO much better. They have a groove that fits even the tiniest crimp sleeves and pinches it into a sturdy crimp. They cover the full width of a standard crimp, so you only have to punch once. Most importantly, they're as easy to handle as a set of pliers. Highly recommend!
