You can use each of the three pieces independently or hook them all together to make one large cocoon. A single cocoon will create a tall, slender shroud that measures only 4" diameter across the top and 5 1/2" across the bottom. Add another section and you'll create a cocoon that measures 8" across the top and 11" at the bottom. All three sections will create a cocoon that measures a full foot in diameter at the top. Each additional cocoon extends the diameter by 4" at the top and 5 1/2" additional inches across the bottom. The height of each cocoon section is 25". Each section has a two tabs with center holes at the bottom to use for securing the cocoons to the ground. When the threat of danger is past and it's time to remove the cocoons, simple unsnap them one from another and lay them out flat to store until they are needed again. Overall flat measurements for storage purposes are 27"H x 18"W.
