Tubing Compatible with Littmann (r) Classic II SE (r) Standard Stethoscope TUBING - 5mm Binaurals T5 Black

I needed to replace the tubing on my Littman Cardiology II that hasn’t been new since 1995. This is my second tubing replacement. The original was short and stiff so was prone to breakage. The second one was also a Littman but was way more soft and flexible and didn’t come with the metal ear piece replacement tubes. Anyway this one had the right price to allow me to keep my stethoscope which has sentimental value. The new ear tubes and pieces are great. The tubing was hard to get off the old stethoscope even with a hairdryer so I took a chance and cut it off. The new one went on easily thanks to a hairdryer dryer. The old one had the 2 holes on cross section and this had one but already I notice sound quality is the same. Listened to myself and detected a faint murmur. Not great but I heard it. This replacement tubing does the job.

This tubing works great as a replacement for my Littmann Classic II SE. The orange color stands out, which makes it way easier to keep up with. It’s flexible, sturdy, and sounds clear. I had to cut it down to size, but that was easy. The install was a little more difficult than I expected - I just peeled the old tubing off and forced the new one on bit by bit. I found out afterward that warming the tubing with a hair dryer can make the process a lot easier (wish I’d known that before). Still, even doing it the hard way, it fit securely and works really well.

It was easy to transfer the bell of my old stethoscope onto this one. The functionality is great. The sound quality is exactly what I expected. Cosmeticaly, the pink tubing was pretty at first, but unfortunately, after a couple years of wearing it around my neck with black scrubs, the tubing now looks dingy. I still like it and use it, but it isn't bright pink anymore.

Love it and much cheaper than replacing my stethoscope

Using on a littman master cardiology The tubing metal doesn’t feel as substantial as brand name replacement. But that makes it more light weight. In a cardiology setting, it’s mandatory to have a good scope. This tubing is functionally the same as brand name, with the added benefit of different sized ear tips. The ones that came on it worked best for me.

Excellent choice for littman tubing replacement

It's a good color, but the tubing is very thin compared to true Littmann stethoscope tubing and there is a lot of extra noise that can be heard. Probably won't get again as I'm looking for a bit more precision in my line of work.
