It's a must for anyone who uses an electric airer.
I'm new to this electric clothes air dryer thing. My OH who is in charge of washing (her choice) only uses the tumble drier for bathroom towels and bedding or when she needs to get things dried quickly but much of the time will dry everything outdoors but when the weather is bad or in winter she uses a non electric dryer set up in the bathroom which takes about two days to get the washing dried properly.Due to the time it takes to dry the washing, to speed things up I thought I'd buy an electric dryer and obviously a cover to fit it and this cover fits the Addis airer perfectly (sold also by LIDL).The cover itself is made from a material similar to that of a cagoul with vents to allow moisture to escape. It's sturdy enough but I was sceptical at first that it would actually work but to be fair the cover definitely does speed drying up so it was a good investment to be used alongside an electric clothes airer and makes best use of the energy used to heat the airer. One thing I'd advise based on use so far is to turn/rotate the washing every few hours when using an electric air dryer to ensure that all areas of the garment etc are exposed to the heated rails.Don't just drape them over the rails then walk away and expect it to be dry in a couple of hours because it won't but by rotating/repositioning the washed garments it certainly speeds up drying especially with the cover in place.Don't expect the cover to perform miracles but it definitely makes a difference to the airer's efficiency and costs no extra to run so must cut down on what little energy heated airers use so it's got to be a good investment.Air dryers can't compete with tumble driers when it comes to drying quickly BUT they are cheap to run in comparison so if you're not always in a rush to get the washing dry or on a very tight budget then they're an economical aid to drying clothes especially in the British winter months and to be fair a cover is a must in order to get the most from the limited heat given off by the heated airer.Would I recommend this cover? Most definitely. I'm certainly pleased with my purchase. It's well made and I would think that it fits most airer brands as they all seem to be of a similar size so there is very little risk of getting the wrong size. The only complaint I have about the cover is that the price has dropped by about 15% in just over two weeks but other than that it's definitely a decent product which works.

Quicker drying
This product is good as it keeps the heat under it. Very pleased with it, also delivery arrived on time

Decent little airer
Got it set up and first load on it yesterday. It's lightweight, but if you're not heavy handed with it it should be ok. The weight of a washing load helps it feel more stable.Bars get nice and warm. I got the cover to keep warm air circulating round the clothes after reading a review from another buyer about how it does help. Seems to so far.Lighter bits dried effectively overnight, definitely quicker than having them on unheated airer, heavier stuff has had to be moved about, but in comparison to unheated airer, towels are definitely drying quicker and almost done. The only problem I forsee at present is keeping heat-seeking cats off it.

Fits heated airers from other brands too.
I was a tad skeptical, but between buying a new heated airer of a different type or whatever... I decided to try a cheaper option and just get the cover. It works.I'm not kidding. There's ventilation holes on the top, but it traps enough heat to help everything on the airer actually dry, not just the fabric coming into contact with the bars. Will be a godsend in winter.

The Product is Good, The Drying not improved.
The product itself is very good quality, can't agree that it improves drying time though. Airer needs to have ventilation.

Poor Quality—Ripped on First Use, Not Fit for Purpose.
The cover tore right away on its first use. The stitching along the seams, especially in the corners, is so flimsy and poorly done that it ripped just as I tried to put it over the airer. Because of this, the cover can’t trap any heat, which makes the item completely useless. I reached out to the seller, hoping for a replacement or refund, but they only offered me 10% back—barely £1.Save your money and look elsewhere. This item isn’t fit for purpose 👎

Works best with a cover
The heated airer is very good & should reduce the cost of using a tumble dryer. You do need to turn the clothes to ensure they dry evenly & it works best with a cover to keep the heat contained.

Keeps the heat in
Cover for heated airer, helps clothes dry quicker as it holds the heat in. Holes in the to prevent over heating. Perfect for what it’s made for
