Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love EVERYTHING about this compact umbrella. It is only 11" when stored. I bought it over a year ago for a winter NCL cruise out of Galveston to four warm Ports. First - it is Sunblocking. the temp drop while under it is noticeable. Second - the quality, including the zippered cover. The span underneath is at least 36". The 19" telescoping handle is sturdy. Umbrella self deploys to pop open with just the firm push of button in knob at base. U need to firmly push on top of retracted umbrella to get it to LOCK into handle when putting away Would make a great gift. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.

I bought this umbrella because I really wanted a sun umbrella that could double as a rain umbrella. In the hot sun, this umbrella provides great shade and keeps the temperature down. I've had other regular umbrellas that I would just bake under it, so having this umbrella to fend off the sun and the sun's hot heat was a game changer. We brought this umbrella on our travels because it was lightweight and a good size to fit in our packs. It kept us cool from the sun, and dry from both rain and snow. I absolutely love this umbrella. I love the color. I love the size. I love that it opens at a push of a button. I currently have two that is used frequently.

Great umbrella to keep sun off & so easy just hit the button. Got for my dad & he loved how easy it is to use with touch of button open/close. Recommend this one for sure!

Took it to Disneyworld and it was fantastic. It’s a bit hard to fold back down. I like that it is small enough to fit in a big pocket.

It really does work. Just recently used it in 90 degree weather and it kept the sun at bay. I love this umbrella. The quality is excellent.

I'm extremely sensitive to both heat and sunlight. Normal rain umbrellas were not blocking enough of the sun's rays to make much of a difference in temperature or the amount of sunlight filtering through. The FDJASGY UV Sun Umbrella made an immediate difference in my comfort level when I need to be out in the heat and sun. Thanks to everyone that made this product possible!!

Only improvement I would have suggested is the closing of it is not that simple as the opening button was. Takes two hand strength 💪 not recommended for frail or elderly for this reason. Unless you plan to keep it open entire time.

I purchased this umbrella for a trip to Israel knowing I would be outside in very warm weather for most of the trip. It more than exceeding my expectations. Small, light, easy to carry, I was the only one of 300 in my tour group with an umbrella. I never needed to apply sunscreen. The difference in temperature had to be at least 10-15' difference which was huge at Masada. An additional benefit was as an actual rain umbrella as we had several days of hard rain at the beginning of the trip. Again, I was the only one prepared but found it amusing that there were several more travelers with umbrellas by the end of the trip, but none that provided UV protection.

Very flimsy, it flipped upside down the first time I used it. I’m returning it.

Highly recommend. I did umrah in the middle of the day in summer 43degrees! This product was excellent! I cant express enough. I had a cross body bag which it fitted in easily. I got back to the UK and had for the rainy days here too! It’s lightweight, it was sturdy in the winds, it looks so nice, easy to put up and fold down it has a cover, but i use a shoe bag to put it in when it was wet. Buy this!

I used this at the Paris Olympics where my friends envied me -- it provided shade on a scorching hot day. I bought it because it was extremely compact and light enough to drag it around while I move around the city. It provides UVF protection AND protects against the rain AND the white colour means it was complimentary with every outfit that I was wearing. Plan to buy this as a gift for friends who travel.

Worked a couple of times, mechanism failed, had to return it. I've bought brollies for £3.99 that lasted longer than this.
