Delicious and Finest Quality Jackfruit
Super sweet! Utterly delicious. You only need a bite or two and it satisfies your sweet tooth. I completely avoid sugar and this is great to keep me healthy. Jackfruit is highly nutritious and I greatly prefer this unprocessed version. There is jackfruit sold in cans and plastic packaging in the refrigerated case and it has NO FLAVOR because it is "dead food" that can sit on a supermarket shelf a long time. In contrast, this is the raw jackfruit, harvested then dried with minimal processing. I quit eating canned food and food wrapped in plastic because of Forever Chemicals - the PFAS. This is the healthiest and most economical way to eat jackfruit. It is highly competitive price - I did a careful price comparision on all the dried jackfruit sold on Amazon and by far, this was the lowest price and the very highest quality. Not only no added sugar but no GMO and certified organic. I have not yet had a chance to experiment and see if I can soak it in water to reconstitute it. Vegans and vegetarians like jackfruit as a substitute for chicken.......I don't know if this version will work as a plant based chicken substitute but based on my experience snacking on this lovely product, I rate it a A plus, highly recommended and will purchase it regularly with Subscribe and Save subscription for the BIG DISCOUNT.

Healthy alternative snack
Love these mango treats. Not too sweet, soft and chewy. Satisfies that sugar craving perfectly.

Somewhat tasty, soft dried, but not worth the cost
Mavuno Harvest Organic Dried Fruit Variety Pack | Dried Mango, Papaya, Pineapple, Banana, Jackfruit, & Tropical Mix | Healthy, Vegan, No Sugar Added, Non GMO Snacks for Kids & Adults | 2 Ounce, 6 Pack I finally finished the last of these packages, so I felt a need to rewrite parts of my review. I eat fruit almost everyday, and dried fruit for me is an easy way to get the fruit into my diet. I have a few flavors that are my favorites but I like to try different brands and different flavors from time to time. Preferencing that, here is my review on this assortment, and please keep in mind, I give very few one star reviews- but this product deserves it, and this is why. The dried fruit comes in attractive retail packages with bright colors and vibrant pictures on the outside. Each pack is the rip-off style of opening with a press and seal closure, in case you don't eat all of it right away. The packages are pretty and pleasing to look at. That's where the fun ends with this product. Inside the bag, is a small amount of dried fruit that is a medium to dark brown color and unattractive to look at. The smell is very vaguely of the fruit that's in the container. You don't get an intense fruit smell from these, it's very subdued. Understanding that these are dried fruit, and fruit shrivel and become desiccated as they dry, these still look sad. Brown and leathery looking. I gave it a shot anyway, but taste wise, they're not that great. They're okay, but not great. There is a small amount of flavor, and the fruit pieces are very hard to chew. Once you get to chewing, and your saliva kicks in then you can get some flavor out of these. With the unattractive and unfavorable appearance of these fruits, paired with poor taste and adding the extremely high cost, I absolutely cannot recommend these. I wanted to try something different- but please take heed of my words, don't do this to yourself, and waste your money as I did.

Start with the tropical mix, avoid the papaya
PINEAPPLE, MANGO, And TROPICAL MIX: 5 stars!!! If you don’t already know, organic non-sulfured pure dried fruit isn’t pretty. It just isn’t. The papaya was so bad I didn’t have high hopes for the others, but I’m now officially addicted to the tropical mix. Who knew dried bananas could be soft and chewy? The pineapple and mango are perfectly sweet and chewy. Knocking off 1 star because of the nasty bag of papaya, but these 3 flavors were 5 stars. Original 1 star review for papaya: 0 stars, too tough to chew, and I can chew nails. jk, I can't chew nails. I'm auditioning Amazon to replace the stuff I buy from nuts.com. This wasn't it. I know it's a characteristic of dried fruit, but this was above and beyond tough to chew, and not much flavor either. Wish I hadn't bought 2 pounds of their other stuff. It hasn't arrived yet, I hope it's not this bad.

Crunchy and tasty with no added sugar!
Crunchy and tasty with no added sugar! Loved by one who cares about size, texture and health. As a side note: the tiny bit of brown from the outside of the coconut meat doesn't affect the taste or texture according to the discerning pallet in the house, and it might even enhance it's visual aesthetic. Why is it so hard to find strips of plain dried coconut without a bunch of sugar added? Trader Joes had similar for a while. Now local options seem to be down to flower, flakes, chunks, whole coconuts or strips soaked in so much sugar they're more like gummies. Even here on Amazon this is about the only option for raw coconut strips without sugar. The price seemed a bit high to me, but it's not out of line with similar products. Oh inflation/devaluation of currency...

Great product, but change in quality
I have been purchasing the dried mango for approximately 1 year and really like it. It has no sugar, is a low calorie/low fat option and it tastes really good. Unfortunately, something is going on with the quality very recently, and I am hoping that it is only a temporary problem. The last 2 boxes that I purchased (I buy boxes of the smaller bags) have not been good. The mango is paper thin and thready/ fibrous. It has barely any taste (or a bitter taste) and some pieces actually look rotten (another purchaser noted the same thing) and/or old. If I could return them I would. I just ordered again and am hoping that these are better. If not, I will need to find another option.

GLAD TO FIND THESE BANANAS
I usually dry my own bananas because it is so hard to find bananas done like these, they are do good, they wait until they are ripe to dry them, they are sweet and delicious, love them!

Too hard to chew- shoe leather! Making smaller pieces didn’t help!
Well because I can’t return this item I’ve chosen to write a poor review. I was so hopeful that these would taste good because my dietitian suggested I add some dried fruit to my diet. Unfortunately, my hopes were shot down. These are like shoe leather. All I can imagine is if someone with dentures ever tried to eat these it would be impossible! In addition, they truly taste lousy and that’s IF you’re able to chew them. I tried a few just to make sure and the last one I ate tasted like fish. I was up in the air about which fruit to choose and should have just stuck with what I know is good. Kirkland’s unsweetened mango is very good. However, I chose these because of the small pieces, which I thought would be peasier to add to trail mix. I’ll stick with the large slices of mango by Kirkland. It’s not really good business not being able to be compensated for something that tastes horrible. I took a chance based on your food source, country of origin, and your mission statement.
