I have had problems using "water resistant," bags in the rain. Have you had any problems using this in the rain?

I have not got it wet, I try not to.

Will the contents get wet in a downpour or are the seams sealed?

The seams aren't sealed, but I own this backpack and the material is some-what waterproof, but just for rain not good enough to dip in water. Peace out.

Well sure, you could submerse it but all the contents would get wet!
