Vanilla isn't a manly smell
Not a fan of this. I liked the beard wash so I gave it a try. It smells more like spiced vanilla than cinnamon anything. Definitely not a masculine scent. Luckily my mother liked it and uses it as a rub-on perfume.

Sweet & natural
I got the sweet tea tree scent, and it is accurate. It kind of reminds me of mint chocolate cookies, but there are subtle medicinal or mechanic's grease undertones. I like it, but if you don't like tea tree, I'm not sure this will win you over. I'm not sure I would describe this product as sealed. The jar itself isn't, but it arrived in a bubble bag. However, any tampering would be visibly printed in the hard balm. The label is kind of generic, but the glass jar with plastic lid is nice. I do wish the jar was more practically wider and shallower. The ingredients are all natural and feel good. Not sure if it promotes growth yet. We'll see. Overall, I think it's a good quality balm for $9.99 and would be interested in trying other scents.

Smells like the oils
This is supposed to have a citrus blend scent. Not only does it not smell anything like citrus, it doesn’t smell like anything appealing.

Sugary texture, adds shine, moisture and nice scent to beard.
The media could not be loaded. This balm is a little different from others I've tried in that it has a gritty sugar-like consistency and feel.It has a perfumy sandalwood scent that kind of smells like a mid-range cologne, not fancy but the smell is nice and masculine. You can see in my video clip, this stuff gets absorbed into the beard and provides a wet shiny look. My beard is not very long, maybe for longer hairs it would be better. I end up wiping my skin a little to take off excess.I like to put some of this on if I'm getting dressed for an evening party or dinner outing.

Quick & easy to apply, leaves my husband's beard & mustache soft, smoothed & smells great...
This is an great balm for my husband's beard and mustache. He is usually clean-shaven but every few years he gets a hankering to grow out his beard and mustache. That usually only lasts a year or so, at the most. But this time, he has let it grow quite long and it has gotten a bit unruly + the hair isn't very soft or smooth. He hasn't used a product specifically for facial hair, so I ordered several balms and oils for him to try, and all of them really make a surprising difference in the condition of his hair as well as for his skin. He does prefer a balm over an oil, and I chose the woody vetiver simply because I like the smell of vetiver (he had no preference) and it smells great. It isn't strong or overpowering at all, and it doesn't seem to linger too long, although my husband says he can catch just a hint of the scent once in a while over the course of the day. The balm is not as hard as some balms he has tried, and it softens up easily in his hands and is easy to apply -- he just dots a bit on his skin and then massages it in lightly and runs his fingers through his facial hair. The current price of $9.99 seems very reasonable. I initially thought the tin was much too small, as it only contains one ounce, but as it turns out, he only needs to use a small amount to smooth and tame his facial hair. It looks much nicer, now -- with a healthy shine but not at all greasy. I will definitely pick up some of the other fragrance choices, too.
