Worked beautifully. Highly recommend. Not sure what is the deal with the negative reviews. Perhaps they worked out quality control issues. I bought extra plugs Incase the ones that came with were defective, but they were perfect. Push hard and run the drill really slow.

This kit works just perfect! Drill the hole with the round saw, add compound around the repair drywall patch, stick it in the hole, add more compound, sand it after drys and it will be ready to paint. Super easy, good product!!

The idea is fantastic and overall worth it for simple patches. The problem is that the build construction is sub par and wiggles around a bunch due to not being centered. Second issue is that nothing is sharp on it so it takes a long while to drill out. It’s a great idea just needs a redesign and better manufacturing to really be great!

The concept of this is really good, but there’s no way too keep the nut that holds the circular blade from coming loose. so you have to stop and constantly re-tighten Be sure you use this with a powerful drill with variable speed that will go very slow — it fried my Makita 18 V XLT cordless drill motor, so I recommend using with a corded electric drill. It would also be nice if they made this in something slightly smaller in diameter. The concept of having to spackle a 3 inch circle just to cover a half inch hole makes no sense. The hole did not have enough backing to hold spackle due to Molly Bolt damage. I guess the good news is I get a new drill.

Easy to use. Great for towel rod or toilet paper holder repair. When you put in plug it is slightly recessed into the wall allowing for a flush finish when you apply joint compound. Wall looks flawless after light sanding.
