perfect amp for a skar 12" evl in a big ported box
Good, 225 watts @ 4ohm, little over 400 watts @ 2ohm. Knobs are terrible. Better terminals than pictured.

Exceeded my expectations too good to be true! Small footprint, big quality bass.
I had very low expectations for this product because of the price. I have never had success with a cheaper brands. I knew it was going to let me down in someway or another but I installed it in a Honda element suv. I was surprised how small it was for how much power it has. I was able to wire it up with a 400W amp wiring kit ran it for at least 2 to 3 hours very high and it did not clip or over heat. It just got a little warm. Powering a shallow JL, audio 10 inch subwoofer at 2 ohms. Only needed to turn up the gain 35% the only negative things that I have to say is that the terminals are very cheap. Easy to strip if you’re not careful. Also, the adjustment knobs are hard to turn unless you have a very small head screwdriver and they also seem cheap and easy to break. It has a high-level speaker wiring input, but it seemed to work better with RCA. The amp has no fuse on it. Comes with a sticker/advertisement. Not packaged that well in a small cardboard box no padding. The price is unreal for what it does. I would definitely buy another one easy to conceal under a seat or by your spare tire. Was able to put out the amount of power that I was looking for great buy good product. Hope it holds up.

Shockingly good!
After taking a long road trip in my classic Porsche 944, I realized that the low end of my sound system was lacking. The car has the original blaupunkt stereo, putting out a whopping 20 watts. All four speakers have been replaced, but the factory radio didn't really have the oomph to power them. I scored a good deal on a 10-in passive dual voice coil Bazooka Tube off Marketplace, and set off to find an amp to power it. I didn't need anything crazy; the bazooka tube can't handle a ton of power, and I'm not 16 years old anymore.Like several other reviewers, I was surprised at the small size of the package that showed up at my door, as well as the lack of weight. I was skeptical, but I wired it up, using the amp output from the factory radio.Holy cow! This thing has more than enough grunt to push the sub. It's shocking given the small size and the low cost. My biggest struggle with it has been tuning it so it isn't overpowering - there's a *ton* of grunt in this little sub. Time will tell how reliable it ends up being, but I'm extremely pleased. I will buy from Taramps again!

Small, and sounds pretty good.
I bought this for an experimental modification to a JBL sound bar, which didnt impress me. I wanted a way to control the LPF and some bass control, so I thought why not a car audio amp. Wanted something small, cheap, and had decent amount of controls. This was a best choice.Hooked it up, and was impressed the amount of low end response it gave my wireless JBL sub. It's what it was missing. I will however say the bass Is a little weird. I have the LPF all the way down, and still hear frequencies above 70Hz coming through, but besides that, it still sounds good. I'll be using this little beast for a while.Pros:Small footprint, fit virtually anywhere.Powerful.Variable frequency bass boost.Turns on automatically with high level input.Does not get hotCons:LPF still allows higher frequencies through.Bass isn't super clean.Doesn't have any RCA outputCrossover slope only 12db/oct.

Great value
Had to return due to project cancellation, but the combination of feature set, size, power and price is impressive.

Not a good choice
The amp is powerful and sounds good but wouldn't shut off after running it for a short time. Im returning it and getting a better one. I will have to rewire because this uses 10 gauge and any comparable amp uses 8 gauge. I do not recommend. Also the instructions are mostly written in Portuguese.

Perfect for a smaller sub... plenty of bass on my single entry level kicker in a sealed box, great for installs where space is an issue
