Shipping issues with this item causing defects
We received this Knife Block as part of our wedding registry on Amazon. We loved it. However, one of the rubber bumpers on the bottom of the block was missing. Therefore, the Knife Block wouldn't sit evenly on the counter. We returned the gift and ordered another one, and this time 2 of the rubber bumpers are missing on the bottom of the knife block and the wood looks cracked on one side. Buyer beware. For some reason, this item does not ship well.

A very welcome addition
Perfect for storing a mezzaluna. The storage block is very sturdy and looks good; it would fit in with just about any type of kitchen decor. Now I don't have to worry about storing my Reinhoffer mezzaluna safely.
