We used this for our gray metallic Honda Civic for touch ups. And it was NOT an exact match. My husband putting it on, after testing it on paper like the package instructed, just thought the paint would look darker until it dried. But when it dried on our car, it did NOT lighten up. And now we have dark splotches on our car. :(

The product was a perfect match. I don't know much about re-finishing, but this product was very easy to use and the results were much better than expected. Looks like a professional body shop did the work. I thought it was expensive at first but I know I saved hundreds of dollars by dong this project myself. Highly recommend
