Does this have a strong or slight chemical smell?

It's made from PVC. Skin contact with PVC can expose you to chemicals like phthalates and bisphenol-A (BPA). Love RAD, have almost all of their products, almost bought this as well. Glad I did not.

how much air do we pump into the ball?

It should be pretty firm. I couldn't pump enough air in to make the line where the ball was folded (when flat) disappear. My trainer had to pump it more - the fold line should not be visible. It's a relatively small ball.

Does this come with a list of exercises/ways to use it?

Yes! It comes with user guide, and you always have access to our free RAD Mobility App as well that goes with the product.

Will completely deflating the ball after every use cause damage or shorten the life of the ball? I travel daily need to travel in one compact bag

Don’t think so, I’ve done this a few times & have had no problem with it. The only difficulty is refilling after travel.
