I’ve bought close to 40 of these Platinum P41 drives in both 1TB and 2TB sizes, and every single one has been rock solid. They’re fast and handle everything I throw at them – from gaming PCs to home servers (TrueNAS, ProxMox, Game Servers, etc)Installation is straightforward, and performance has been consistent across all of them. This is probably the bestest and fastest gen4 NVMe drive out there. And the fact it costs significantly less than the other big name brands makes it a no-brainer. Drop it in and it’s ready to go. Paired with AMD Ryzen 9600X, A620I mobo, and 32GB 6000MHz CL30 DDR5.There’s also an SK Hynix update tool that quickly updates your drive and then removes itself from your computer and doesn’t bother you again, which is actually pretty nice. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

I bought this SK hynix P41 2TB SSD three years ago, and it’s been flawless ever since. Blazing fast speeds from day one, with no issues at all—no slowdowns, no errors, and no overheating. Still performs like new. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable Gen4 NVMe drive.

This is one of the best laptop drives. It is very fast and the most efficient drive. Speeds are as advertised and installation went great. I have the previous p31 in a couple of other systems that are still running great. the p41 can get hotter than the p31, so i added a heat plate. p41 is also faster than the p31.

its a great product. it does its thing but the speeds might have to be adjusted to get the whole 100% speed. my games load way faster now.

Great NVME SSD. Great speeds and low power draw, however you MUST upgrade the firmware to get proper write performance. Using these in a ZFS pool and consistently impressed by performance and low heat output.SK Hynix recently released a firmware update and utility, the drive will work without this but you will end up losing roughly half of the write speed after several months. Unfortunately the utility is Windows only, so Linux users need to plan accordingly.
