Quality Product! This Stuff Is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Have been transitioning to a WFPB (Whole Food Plant Based) lifestyle for over a year now - on the whole, it has been successful. I give myself the odd 'hall-pass' for a sushi meal/fish dish now and again. I had already accepted the fact long ago that I would never taste an egg again. This Kala Namak is THE REAL DEAL!!! My 'fake' scrambled eggs (scrambled tofu) tastes so real - it is unbelievable!!!! The quality is really there with this product - so a little goes a long way. Amazing creamy scrambled egg recipe (as well as other amazing vegan dishes) can be found at www.thevegspace.co.uk. Seriously worth a look!

Sulfurlicious
If you’re looking for stinky sulfur egg taste smell replacement you’ve come to the right place. Use sparingly! Great for tofu scramble.

Very good for vegan egg but stinky!
It's very good for making a vegan egg (scrambled/omelette/egg mayo replacement). The only problem is it smells so bad, clean it straight away if you spill it anywhere. The taste is very good though and it doesn't smell once cooked!

Good addition for adding eggy flavour
This is excellent for turning plain tofu into egg flavoured vegan scramble or omelette. A bit pricey but worth it for me.

Good
Exactly what I expected, is just the package could be stronger. Need to keep it in ziplock or jar. Great ingredient if you don’t eat eggs to add that specific taste to your meals.

Great taste and quality.

Sulphur smells similar to rotten eggs...The salt may be healthy, but honestly, I couldn't get past the smell and the weird taste. To make matters worse, I watched a video made in a third world country as to how lots of this "salt" was made. So sorry...I just had to throw it away.

I first tried black salt when my Indian in-laws used it in their cooking, and I was instantly hooked. I enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought my own. It’s definitely not your typical table salt — it’s pungent with a deep, almost smoky umami flavor that adds an incredible punch to dishes. It’s especially great sprinkled on fruit, added to curries, or mixed into chutneys and raitas. The aroma can be strong at first, but that’s part of its charm — it brings authentic depth and that unmistakable savory tang. Pros: Unique umami-rich flavor Great for authentic Indian cooking or creative seasoning A little goes a long way Cons: The smell can be intense if you’re not used to it If you love bold, complex flavors, black salt is a must-try. It’s become a staple in my kitchen — and I finally understand why my in-laws swear by it!
