A great looking watch that is about the right size and weight, with an equally attractive price tag
I wanted a basic but good looking watch that could be worn at work or out and about. I got this for just under a tenner as part of a lightning deal. My concern was that I wouldn't like it when it arrived. However I'm absolutely delighted so far. To be honest, it's a cheap watch designed to look like a swiss crafted timepiece, without being a fake. Aesthetically it looks good. It arrived in a large quality looking box, although the watch was cellophane wrapped inside which killed the open box experience somewhat, but I was expecting it to arrive loose in a jiffy bag. I was originally going to go for a black wrist band but opted for green. Very pleased I did. It aligns with the no-nonsense military style that this watch exudes. I can imagine black would also look good so maybe will get one as a gift for a lucky friend or relative. There were some instructions included although it's intuitive enough if you ever owned a watch before. There is a disposable spacer that prevents the battery being wasted whilst in transit, which needs to be removed. It should just come away but I was a little concerned whether this was meant to be removed. I like that it has a seconds hand plus the day of the month. I'm certain this requires setting every month as it will assume a month is 31 days long which only about half are with few contiguous 31 day months. Well it's a nice to have. My other slight concern was the size of this watch. It looks like it could be the size of a 10p piece which would look a little too small, especially as a man's watch. It is in fact just about right. Kind of the old fashioned watch face size that have since been taken over by ludicrously large and pathetically small variations. It really does look as good as the images here and I'm hoping it will last. I've had many cheap watches that break faster than my interest in them, but fingers crossed about this one. I only received this today but will update this review if my initial impression is swayed in time

A good vfm watch, ideal for holiday use
Nice watch. Strap looks a bit short in the box but in fact it is fine, if a little rough around the edges. I ran a lighted match over the cut end of the strap just to tidy up a few loose ends - work of a moment and it looks better now. Watch itself looks good quality and appears to keep good time. Only slight reservations are to do with the time adjustment knob which feels a little fragile when pulled out and the adjustment itself is rather crude and lacks the precision of a more expensive watch. But it isn't an expensive watch and it is great value for money. Pleased with my purchase. Postscript: I decided that I didn't like the original strap, it's too stiff and coarse, so I put a brown leather strap on it and it looks much better and is more comfortable to wear.

Value for money
I bought the green version and for the money it's quite impressive. I'd say the case is around 42mm, so a bit bigger than a traditional field watch, but it sits nicely on my 6.7" wrist. The nylon strap is of a decent quality and is soft enough so it doesn't cut into your skin. The buckle is made of metal and the case is stainless steel. The face is very clear and easy to read. Pull out the crown and you can change the time and date. Changing the date gives a satisfying click each time you turn the crown. The second hand stops moving when changing the time, so you can set the time very accurately. Over the past two weeks, it's kept its time well. I'll see how accurate it is going forward. The face is covered by some sort of plastic or plexi glass (my best guess), but for the price you wouldn't expect anything else. It seems to withstand scratches so far... Pretty impressive for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another Zeiger product.

Good watch, crap strap
The watch is simple.and fine, but the strap is cheap plastic, uncomfortable and too short to go around even my slim wrist. Had to spend same price again for a decent strap.

Very pleased fantastic size and style and at an amazing low price will recommend highly
I use this watch for work and found it reliable and accurate, it is a good size and has a florescent dial giving good visual aid during night hours and as for the amazing price highly recommended. The strap is a little short and I would have likes a better grip but I can get two holes but really needs three as the strap comes undone with normal movement during my shifts which can be frustrating. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase and I may buy a longer strap myself to resolve the issue but if the makers took on board the constructive advice they would have an amazing product that would sell and if an product sells well, then the price can go up because the quality is there and the reviews will accredit that accordingly.

Cheap and keeps accurate time
I bought this as a temporary watch when the strap on my normal watch broke and I could not get it fix due to lock down, in fact this entire watch is cheaper than a replacement watch strap. Its not a dress watch with its nylon strap, but it is an excellent watch for day wear, it looks fine and is easy to read and keeps accurate time. After a week it is still in sync with my atomic clock.

Good looking watch at a very low price
You will have ended up here if you are looking for a cheap watch. Well, this one is certainly inexpensive. I liked it because it looked like a more expensive one that I have recently fished out of the washing machine. An expendable alternative seemed sensible. It has a military style face with 24 hour markings. The casing is gunmetal grey. The strap is nylon webbing. The material is doubled over so it feels stiff but strong. The buckle could be the weak point. Time keeping for the first week has been good. Its not very complicated. One click on the crown sets the date, two clicks and you set the time. Its also light and easy to wear. Downsides are: 1) the hands are slender and not fluorescent so you have no chance of telling the telling the time in poor light; and 2) the date is so small and deep set in the face you need a magnifying glass to read it. Other reviews note its not waterproof, so keep away from water. In short a good looking watch at an incredibly low price.

Loose Hands
Watch was well packaged and looks good, however; the one I received had hands that were not secured to the bezel and so just moved randomly! The strap is also ridiculously short for a mans item, I could just about engage the first hole but it was very tight and my wrists are in no way particularly large. Very disappointed as I really wanted to like this item. Return procedure for this item was for some reason also particularly tricky, address on label not recognised by Post Office. I actually gave up in the end as the low purchase price did not justify the effort required. Written off as a (very unusual for Amazon in my experience) bad job.
