I already have one of these on the front of my house set to record visitors. This cut the battery life to a few weeks only so I had to install a mains adapter. I have now fitted a second camera to the balcony of my mother’s unoccupied flat. Not worried re security as on 6th floor but trying to avoid multiple long distance visits to check for danage after storms etc as on seafront. I didn’t want to knock her flat about to install a cable so have switched off all recording as I just need to take a quick peek about twice a week. It’s been up a couple of months without charging and says that battery will last another 16 months so very happy.
