Final Fantasy XIV Online Complete Edition - PC

I am extremely happy that my friends convinced me to purchase FFXIV. I adore everything about it in summary and have been playing it every month since my purchase. I feel it is very much so worth the money and I am provided with hours of entertainment and fun. Try it out if you like fantasy style MMORPGs!

Honestly like most MMORPG you have to have a good group of people to play with. Those that will aid you in progressing and becoming a better player. That will guide you through the game while not spoiling anything. It does cost $15 a month (which is a small turn off for me.) but it is worth it when I have a group of friends and we are running roughshod on primals

Amazing mmorpg, great graphics and an entertaining story. Monthly subscription is only negative, but there is always fresh new content so it is worth monthly fee.

IF ONLY... gorgeous characters, lots of stuff to do - challenging dungeons, great population. I only wish I could use arcanist skills while moving... talk about quibble...GORGEOUS characters... tons of fun

This is an old version of the complete edition which contains every expansion except Shadowbringers, which is the newest. Unfortunately, even with the large sale price, it is a much better deal to get the full priced complete edition directly from square enix than it is to buy this and the Shadowbringers separately. Stay away.

Very important to create an account with Enix before buying this. Ensure you CAN create an account, and it may take 2-4 weeks to do so.Email is limited to 1 email per 24 hours (not 1 day). So if you do anything with email, expect to take a few days or weeks to sort things out.Important things you should also know:1. Enix have over 1000 anti-hack, anti-check, DRM, anti-piracy system in place. This will lag your PC to death2. IF anyone near your house tries to hack, cheat, or get ban, they not only ban that single person they will ban your entire area. If too many people in the area gets ban, they will ban your entire state. FOREVER. This is the famous error code "i2501" , thousands of people get this issue.3. You need to pay $16 extra for a software phone app for "one time security login" without this you will not be able to login or even create an account.4. Never link your Enix account with any others like steam, epic, or other stores. They WILL ask you to link for easy login. Once you LINK , you will not be able to unlink, and IF you key in your purchased serial, you WILL NEED TO BUY A NEW GAME . Linked accounts does not work (example, if you are in US > Link your Steam > Enix says you are from JP > Website will be in Japanese > Your product which you bought from Amazon (US) will not work)

I give the game 10 stars and support -7.Pros:I am finally getting my wife and kids to play and it's great to be able to buy the game and both expansions at the same time.I absolutely love the game Final Fantasy XIV. It is the best MMORPG I've played, and I've played most of them.The graphics are amazing. I have a higher end PC and play with everything turned up to max, but even on my kids' computers that are not as great it still looks good. The characters look more realistically proportioned than other MMOs.People are generally nicer than other MMOs I have played. In other words helpful, understanding, and polite. I have played on 2 servers in 2 different areas and it seems to be the norm.Chocobos(if you're a Final Fantasy fan you know).Cons:"Support". I won't go into detail, but suffice it to say I had a very simple easily solved problem with a promotion that should have been applied to my account but wasn't. I tried chat support a few times but it was down due to technical problems. I tried email support and after 5 emails to them (only 2 were replied to and with canned answers)and waiting a week in between they said they "can't help me with this problem over email" and recommended call support or use the chat support. The most helpful thing they told me was the phone number to call support. In case you are wondering, it is: SQUARE-ENIX Support Center: (310) 846 - 0345 and no it is not toll free. After alternating trying to get through to phone support and chat an hour or two at a time, I set aside a day(yes the entire day) to stay on chat and the phone at the same time. After about 4 hours I finally got through to the chat line. Once I explained the problem, the rep first told me that the promotion had ended on July 20th(today is JUNE 27th by the way and in case you like the rep don't know... June comes before July) and that my account didn't qualify. Once I explained the calendar to her, she curtly told me to take up the problem with a GM in-game and ended chat.
