Got these wires for 73 VW. Amazon Garage says they fit, but my cap & the wires both female also distr cap clips on, alternate male distr cap screws on

According to the MSD catalog and website, these wires are designed to fit the pro-billet distributors that have HEI style caps/posts. The set I have fit the MSD, Mallory, and Top Street Performance distributors which have a larger body and cap style versus the 009, 010, or 050 VW stock distributors.
