Not as effective on my granddaughter's lovely mop of thick curly hair as we had hoped...
I ordered this shampoo for my teen-aged granddaughter. She has beautiful, thick, glossy hair that is healthy and naturally curly -- and she hates it. Because it tends to get frizzy, and not just in the heat. I was hoping this would help. She has tried a few other anti-frizz shampoos with varying levels of success but results don't seem to last. I think this shampoo is the priciest one so far. My granddaughter doesn't particularly care for the scent, but she does like the shampoo otherwise. It lathers well, and most importantly she says that it rinses away completely and doesn't weigh her hair down. It does leave her hair looking sleek and with less volume right after styling, but over the course of the day, I have to say I can't really tell much of a difference between her regular shampoo and this one. Maybe this is because her hair is healthy and has not been damaged from over-use of hot styling tools or chemical processing. Or perhaps she just needs to try the conditioner from this line to get the full effect. However, the rather extravagant price makes me hesitant. Just out of curiosity, I tried this shampoo, too. I don't have a problem with frizz -- in fact, I could use some as it would probably give my baby-fine hair some volume. Of course this didn't do anything for my hair, but it did leave my hair clean and shiny. I didn't think my granddaughter's results were quite enough to justify the very high cost of this shampoo. Plus, she has a lot of hair and will go through the bottle in no time. The current price is $39.99 for just over 8 ounces, which is way out of my budget, anyway.

Cleans effectively
I have medium-length curly hair (3b/c) and have been using this Anti Frizz Hair Shampoo by OGC Cosmetics for a few weeks now, in conjunction with the same brand's conditioner and hair mask. It thoroughly cleanses my hair and does not have an overpowering aroma. The scent reminds me of the shampoo used in salons. The amount of lather is medium. There are more suds than in a co-wash, but fewer than in regular shampoo. I didn't notice much of a difference in frizz, but it's difficult to tell with curly hair. I wish the product line's manufacturers had made the bottles more distinctive. As you can see in my photo, all three bottles are identical, and the writing is extremely small. I've taken the wrong bottle on more than one occasion because I don't wear my glasses in the shower. I have to put the bottles in different places to remember which one is which. Based on all of this, I would say this is a good shampoo, but not one that is worth the current price.

Helps with frizz
This shampoo smells good. It helps to keep fizz down which is nice because I have a lot of flyaways and the humid weather is rough on that. The shampoo helps to tame these.

Helps with frizz hair
My hair isn't that curly, this has helped me with frizz control and overall my hair felt nice.

Mild allergic reaction with minimal results to my hair
I was excited to try this shampoo and showered with it the day after I received it. Shortly after rinsing I felt a bit itchy on my face and chest but I didn’t think much of it. I styled my hair as usual and the results from using the shampoo were ok- nothing that I can’t achieve from an affordable bottle of shampoo at my local grocery store. The itching continued on my face and chest though. I didn’t get a rash or hives, but my skin clearly was not happy with something in the shampoo. It continued until I washed my hair with a different shampoo the next day.

Works well if used with conditioner
This shampoo works well if you used along with the anti frizz conditioner. It works best on thicker hair types since it’s a bit heavy. My daughter has very thick wavy/curly hair that’s always extremely frizzy, especially around her face. The shampoo and conditioner seem to smooth her hair and tame the frizz. It says in 15 days it brings life back to your hair. She already has pretty healthy hair so I’m curious to see the improvement after 2 weeks. I wouldn’t reckoned this for fine hair, it’s anti volume. If you have fine/thin hair like myself this will weigh your hair down too much.

Pricey
I have a lot of frizz, but I also have fine, thin hair. So I’m in a constant battle of wanting to tame my frizz, but also balance having some amount of volume, and really it just never works out. While I do feel like this tamed my frizz slightly, more than anything it just reduced my volume. So in the end it just looked worse. I’d rather have some amount of volume with a little frizz. On top of that, this is extremely pricey. While I do think the quality of the scent and lather compares closely to other salon brands, this is much pricier per ounce.

It’s good but no magic
My hair is long and wavy. It works nice on me as something that just keeps my hair contained but I’d doesn’t do magic and straight it up as the pictures show. I wasn’t hoping for it though. So if you buy with the intent of containing your hair, that will be a good product for.
