Ease of use is a definite plus. The taste and value are also great. Will buy it again.

The sauce has great flavor and, in my opinion, better than the frozen product I usually get at the “Trader” store. It’s convenient because it isn’t frozen (I have limited freezer space). I gave it a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 because two of the packages were damaged during shipping and leaked. To make this product perfect, it should be shipped in a box. Price is perfect, too.

A few years ago Trader Joe's sold a frozen Shakshuka sauce. I really liked it but it was discontinued. This tastes nothing like it. Closer to a spicy tomato sauce. It is conveniently packaged and easy to use.

Came damaged & spoiled

This was better than anticipated. I love shakshuka and wanted to try this as a quicker and more convenient way to make it. Caramelized some onions first and then put this sauce on top, with some canned green chilies. After a few minutes I made wells for the eggs and put a few eggs in, along with some spices (za’atar and pepper). Cooked for a bit and it turned out great. Would definitely buy this again!
