They are a good material that does not rust.

Best cuticle tools I've ever used!
All three tools are so effective and really easy to use. Be careful not to trim too far-- I think it's easy to go overboard with these and next thing you know you're bleeding on 7/10 fingers 🥲 maybe that's just me idk. Still love them and my nails are popping off💅🏻
