Best for the money
This was the most affordable camera I could find with the IMX678 sensor. It may not be the absolute best camera you could buy but I am taking price point into consideration when giving it 5 stars. The IMX678 sensor is key to getting clear true 4k resolution. Some cameras say they are 4k but use the IMX675 sensor then scale it up. Others do not even tell you what sensor they use and I would steer clear of those. I bought 2 such cameras before this one and returned them. The only thing that could really be better than this is if the rear camera was also 4k with an IMX678 but I would not expect that it this price point, that is going to cost you another $100. The 1080P rear camera is fine. The menus are easy to navigate, the app works well, the wifi/Bluetooth connect easily, and you do NOT have to have it connected to your phone at all times for it to work as somebody else said in their review. I tried to use a different brand of parking cable and it did not recognize it, you have to use the 70mai cable. This is no big deal, but I wish they had been more clear about that in the information. If you use the cigarette lighter plug and it receives power when the car is off, there is an option to have it automatically shut off so it does not kill your battery. Someone else was complaining it killed their battery and there is no reason for this if you know what you are doing. The same applies to the parking cable, if you don't know what you're doing leave it to someone who does so you don't kill your battery. Both cameras mounted well, even in the cold. the audio quality is fine I guess, wasn't really an important factor to me.

Fantastic product easy to mount
First of all, I would like to say this product is amazing. I used to consider mounting the camera on my car correctly needs a lot of time, BUT this product is easy to use. I don’t have any experience with this before, but as a first time user, I could quickly get everything done without messy lines. Also, the camera which is 4k, is really clear, even in the rainy day and the windshield got a lot of water on it, it still can clearly capture the front car’s license plate number. The only thing I worry about is the electrostatic sticker, this part is not that user friendly, i just can’t make it stick firmly, maybe try to add some water first may help? Anyway I use transparent tape to fix this problem. It will automatically record videos if you pass through some big pit, so I think it should be fine to record for the collision.

Perfect for a dash cam front and back
Amazing quality and easy to hide the wire and hook it up after watching videos on YouTube. It’s very easy and the quality is much better than my last dash cam. There is a slight delay watching the video on your phone, but that’s perfectly fine as long as it’s recording. The lane assist is also helpful and it talks to you pleasantly.

Good overall, with some rough edges and space for improvements
I was shopping for "front+rear" dashcam and initially did not think this will become the "trial and error" experience for me.After getting some rear camera quality issues with top of the line WolfBox (returned) and then discovering totally unusable parking mode in VIOFO (high current draw in standby, returned), I watched half of YouTube and settled on 70mai A810.Please understand me well: I was not up to research project, I wanted to buy, install and be done... but given my prior experience in professional surveillance video market, I could not bend my mind into accepting first two brands limitations or quality concerns.A810 is not completely flawless in my assessment, yet it seems to be as close as it gets in the category of reasonably priced front+rear dashcams with Starvis2 sensors.Frontal 4K camera on A810 is flawless!Picture quality, dynamic range and motion fluidity are very very good.Rear camera is "OK", yet still very reasonable. The application for Android is the best from 3 brands I tested, yet I would not rate it as "great", more like "adequate".Still, it is usable and I see that programmers made their homework around optimizing control flow when connecting/disconnecting and getting around the recorded footage. If 80mai keeps improving it (which I greatly hope) - it may definitely get into "great" at some point. Now, some grievances.Installation is relatively straight-forward, but company hardware designers made some mistakes which could easily be avoided:- wires are quite thick, for no apparent reason (power cord caries 3 thin conductors, which would flow through half as thick cord easily, surprisingly rear camera cord is thinner, while likely having shielding to carry)- thick wires make for unnecessary hard to push between panels or next to roof-liner- rear camera cord made into right angle (very rightfully so!), yet power is straight USB-C (why?? it makes cord routing much harder!)- rear camera distance from the glass such that it's not trivial to get between the heater linesSoftware had its own set of issues:- I was not able to download SOME of fragments when bench-testing dashcam- I suspect this is happening around the "partial clip" recordings, as in-the-middle clips loaded fine to phone- Download speed over WiFi was abysmally slow: 2 minutes to download 1 minute clipI had the issue reported to manufacturer (not expecting much and preparing Amazon return), but it was promptly followed, they guided me through diagnostics download and informed next day that bug was identified and will be resolved in the next update. To me it sounded better than I expected and quite reasonable, especially considering that I can take SD card off and have my video-clips downloaded/merged on my PC.At this point, I decided that to compare to other two(highly review rated) brands I tried, I'm getting reasonably good hardware, tested work-around for the issue at hands and manufacturer who seem not to ignore customer concerns, so I decided it's a keeper. I hope not to get mistaken :)

Bought for an SUV with 3rd row seating.
So far so good. Just installed today and it is definitely an upgrade from my previous dashcam. The cable for the rear camera is 17.5 feet long, and the power cable is 10.5 feet long. It isn't listed anywhere in the product description so I thought I would add it here. I also bought and installed the hardwire kit so that I could utilize the parking mode feature, that power cable is 10 feet long. The hardwire kit will take someone with a good know-how to install. For me, on a 2018 Pathfinder the red cable goes to the front door lock fuse (15A) as it receives constant 12v power, and the yellow cable goes to the blower motor fuse (15A). The ground is the ground and that shouldn't require explanation. I guess I will see if those were a good choice in the morning if my car starts or not. Total install took me an hour, but I am very meticulous and I have zero wires showing. App is super easy to set up, functions very well. I will update this as is necessary once I get a few days of testing.*Update. All is well. The wiring method I chose works fine. Allows for parking mode to monitor vehicle 24/7. The app is amazingly easy to use and provides for sending push updates to the dashcam.
