S&B Tasty Hayashi Rice Sauce Mix, 5.6-Ounce

Bought this item could not find in local stores. Shipped all way from Japan. And you know what they did not charge a phenomenal amount like they do here in the U.S. for shipping etc. I paid I think like 8.00 a package got two very reasonable for item I could not locate here. Phenomenal Gravy!!! The best I have ever had and used in my stews and soups! Just takes a few weeks which is not a bother for something I want to keep in my pantry.

Amazingly tasty!!! Highly recommend, in flavor it reminds me a bit of Au Jus gravy, but with a more full and robust flavor. Will purchase again!

Rich and wonderful flavor. Its really easy to use since its a matter of just putting the roux blocks in.

The sauce is a little thinner than I expected, but was easy enough to thicken a bit. It tastes good and is easy to cook, but I admit I expected a bit more tomato flavor. I intend to order it again, but next time I might try adding a bit of tomato paste for both the flavor and consistency.

I use more beef than the instructions suggest, and I zhuzh it up a bit with some more spices, but it's absolutely delicious.

This is a wonderfully tasty sauce mix for cooking beef! Just cook beef with sliced onions, serve on top of cooked rice, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and you've got a special dinner that the whole family will enjoy! I will try this sauce mix on fish, chicken and pork, too!! It has a very versatile flavor.

It super tasty, one of the best things I have had in a while. My sister, who is not a fan of S&B curry, agreed it was delicious. I did cook the onions for a bit longer and carmelize them with cooking sherry before adding the beef.5 stars cant wait see what else i can do with it.
