Neutrogena CLAIMS to have more tested science to their products. I 'think' that is their justification, more R & D in their stuff.

Q: What’s the difference between this and the t/sal therapeutic shampoo?

There is no difference in ingredients of two shampoos; the only difference is the volume of 12 fl. oz for this shampoo.

Q: is this as good as the discontinued Extra strength T/Gel shampoo from Neutrogena (brown shampoo)??? I am very wary to switch but have No choice

Sir, I have had SOME success with this. I know what you mean about the brown T gel product. I actually prefer this new one as it is MEDICATED and CLEAR. So, I actually prefer the 'new model' in that perspective. Just sayin' . . . . .
