I had to grind down one pin to make it fit

These timing pins are the wrong ones for my application, i have a 1011F engine but these timing pins are too long and too big in diameter to fit the hole. I ordered timing pins from the OEM of the engine and verified that they were wrong for this series of engine that you claim that they work on.

Received two pins, My engine is a Deutz F3L 1011 F. Both pins fit the front, neither fit the back. I had to cut one pin down to .210 in on a lathe to get it to fit in the rear slot. After cutting the pin down the threads did work. Unless your belt is broke or timing has slipped you don't need the pins. If the engine is running and in time just remove the old belt and replace the new one making sure you do not move the cam or crank. You can etch some marks on the gears before removing the old belt to ensure the gears do not move.
