A great product and good value! The tea tastes good and has a calming effect. It is also individually packaged very nicely to keep fresh. The tea brews relatively dark and flavorful for what I would consider a regular size mug or slightly bigger. The strength level is medium depending on how much water you use. Extra points for the classic looking packaging.

I love roasted green tea. It has a unique pleasant taste, not like other black teas which could be fermented or roasted. This brand is great. If you are interested in tea, branch out and try as many as you can.

Satisfied with product. Not 1st time buying/ordering this particular tea & brand. Is reliable brand choice for quality Hoji Cha teabags. Yamamotoyama brand tea is a staple for family generations. Tea time is a time honored ritual. Although loose leaf tea is preferred at home, at work (when time is a factor) individual servings via tea bags must suffice. Quality tea producers know preserving freshness by providing proper packaging for the product is an absolute must. Most fine teas are temperature & light sensitive ”storage wise”. I don’t buy more than I could use in 2-3 weeks. Yamamotoyama teas are of fine quality yet still reasonably priced. Individual tastes in teas vary greatly. Tea snobbery shows a lack of experience via “the snob”. It is best to buy a small amount of the new type of tea/tea brand you have in mind. Try 1st and decide for yourself. Tastes vary (even amongst the most distinguished of tea masters & connoisseurs). Overall, this brand, produces a fine Hoji cha when prepared properly to your own liking (mild, moderate & warm or robust & slightly bitter). RE: vendor ethics: Product arrives on time, as described, in the proper increments, item(s) is shipped in plastic envelope - no padding, actual boxes containing the teabags arrived crushed . The tea bags were secure as the mfg. seals them in individual foil envelopes. Consumer suggestion: Vendor would be wise to place these in a small cardboard box for shipping such item(s) (securely). You don’t want the tea bags to be crushed. This vendor DOES takes care to store their fine quality products accordingly (Yamamotoyama Tea). Expiration date checked, up to spec. - not stale. The product delivered in tact, 1st rate results upon preparing & sampling quality of product. Thank you.

Wanted to try this tea since its suppose to be very good for you. I like the taste since its a little nutty.

I am obsessed with this tea. It is a green tea but has a more similar taste to black tea. Great for a latte. I also like that there isn’t much caffeine in it so I can drink it later in the day or at night.
