I got the model without a switch and cut off the USB connector. There are red and black wires, not too small, and were easy to add to some other circuitry.Yes, they are barely into the UV region and cast a purplish light, but they still excite things like yellow highlighter ink. I'm running them at 12 volts, but as strobe that's only on half a millisecond three times per second or so.

Living in Arizona means living with scorpions. Since scorpions glow brightly under UV light, I installed these along the bases of the bathroom cabinets to light up any unwelcome visitors during a night trip to the bathroom. I have had these on constantly for a year and the brightness level has remained constant. There has been no deterioration of the adhesive. I recommend these UV led strips.

For the price I can't complain. Used on the inside of a plastic container to cure resin prints. It takes a while due to the limited output, but still works. Great value overall.

Matched my black light, for holloween

These LED's are not the correct spectrum to be considered to be UV. And they are not waterproof. I used them to make a bug trap with a bucket and they did not last long until they shorted out. They did not even attract the insects like other actual UV lights I have used did which tells me these are nothing more than purple LED's.

Purchased for my sister's dance studio office desk. Beautiful color, strong sticky adhesive and worked without an issue.

It works well at first, and probably will work well if you don’t ever touch the last connection but I used it to light up a disc golf bag that moves a lot. After a few rounds it stops connecting properly.

I plugged mine directly into a wall socket. I have a USB wall socket and I plugged it in and it was super dim so I tried it with one of my chargers and it was dim. Does it have potential yes is it good enough to use on Halloween costume absolutely not. If you want something that’s really gonna give you that effect. Don’t go with this. You can’t see it.
