Great adapter for 1/8" (3.5mm) mics/recorders!
I purchased this in a pinch to put together a sound system for a friend's wedding. I was a bit hesitant to buy this due to the mixed reviews, but this was the only such adapter available in my area for same day delivery.Contrary to what a few others encountered, my XLR cables all fit beautifully. On the other end, my input 3.5mm jack didn't really "pop" into place, but functioned perfectly well, nonetheless. I found the overall build quality to be excellent and this functioned perfectly for my needs. While this may not be stereo (as another reviewer noted), it's exactly as described in the product description and highly recommended. For anyone seeking a similar application, I connected my Zoom H1 as a live mic/recorder hooked up to a pair of Rockville speakers for the wedding ceremony and vows and such. I couldn't have been happier with the setup and the fact that this handy little adapter made my life a lot easier.

TOTAL JUNK!
Did not work with 3 known-good mics as all I get was ungrounded feedback and worst of all it became stuck in my audio-pod for my camera! XLR only go in one way, and I've never had any issue with any cable or adapter in my Sony HXR audio pod. I had to TAKE APART the pod just to get this junk out! I've bought cheaper Astrix brand cables that had better build quality than this. It's not formed or wired properly and I don't want an exchange as I don't want to chance this brand's products anywhere near my equipment ever again!Do NOT buy this! Not a buyer beware, JUST DON'T DO IT!

Zoom H6 to a Deity V-Mic D3
I'm working on my podcasting set up using the Deity V-Mic D3, two of them. I wanted to attach both mics to my Zoom H6 setup so I ordered these Movo 3.5 to XLR adapters. At 1st I thought it would be plug and play. The Deity Mics come with a TRRS cable natively, I got nothing!! So I went down to my local Best Buy and picked up a Rode TRRS to TRS camera cable and it works great with the Movo XLR Mic Adapter, conserinding Deity charges 35.00 for there's. Thank you Movo for making a solid product at a good price. Did I forget to add it comes in a two pack. (Movo for the win)

Perfect for our production
In a world of DSLR (mini-jack) video combined with professional video (XLR), this adapter worked fantastically. No static or Larsen with this converter.

Great adapter! For my 3.5mm mic cable to XLR amplifier interface
Good to go! Using this to interface my Comica LINKFLEX AD2 XLR preamp, to achieve slightly better sound with my Canon T7i camera video shots. Although NOT professional quality, it's better than the camera or a stand alone shotgun mic. It's basically a 3.5mm to XLR adapter - capiche? Lightweight, aluminum body, black finish. Does add some weight to your rig but not too much. I'm using a Takstar SGC 598 shotgun mic with this setup.

2 stars for buzzing and shuuu sound during live streaming.
"I am not a sound expert, but I tried the MOVO F-XLR 3.5mm microphone last night during a live stream with the sound mixer and the RYNCHO wireless microphone. At one point, the wireless microphone was making a "hmmm" sound, followed by a "shuuu" sound. When I touched the MOVO microphone, it produced a buzzing sound. Therefore, I will give it 2 stars for its unreliable performance."
