Could the 100A transmitter fit in at strat guitar ?

I believe the 100A jack is designed for instruments with a recessed jack such as a traditional strat. The "R" jack is right angled and would probably not fit nicely. I found this on Nady's website: The “R” type instrument transmitter features a 90° angled ¼” plug for use with surface mounted jacks only (for recessed jacks, use the SMGT-100A).
