1/4” thick plate steel brackets, STOUT & STURDY
I can’t imagine there is a human being alive that could deform any of the 6 brackets in this kit. The truck cab would bend way before these beasts would. It’s 1/4” thick plate steel, superb coating (durable). The nuts that mount to the cab are aluminized, same as the ford studs, therefore no galvanic corrosion which is a BIG plus. These are made for work and perform well.

Easy install
Don't understand why brackets are not included with step as you can't install step without them. But otherwise great product to date.

Dee Zee bracket kit
They seem pretty heavy duty, comes with 6 brackets, but oddly only uses 2 per side. They did mount up perfectly and were easy to install
