This is a nice mug and really pretty, and I got one of another pattern too--clever idea with the stainless steel tea filter that sits in the top of the mug, and the matching ceramic lid to keep tea warm while brewing--lid can also be used as a coaster to hold the tea filter after the tea is done brewing.That said, I had them on subscribe & save, and I don't need that many of them, but a couple is nice, if I get rid of some of my other gigantic collection of cups and mugs. :)

Well made tea mug and the strainer works great.

I was so excited about this mug. It was pretty, and the tea strainer fits so perfectly on it. However, the lid just slides around on the top and is more of a nuisance, but I put up with it, delicately taking it on and off to take a sip, because I like a lid to keep the tea warm. I didn’t have the cup long and was sitting on the couch sipping my tea. I slid the lid off delicately and off with it slid part of the ceramic from the top of the mug, just fell off in my hand. I was being so delicate with handling it because of the top, and it ended up being the top of the mug that broke while I was delicately holding it. Mug should be thicker so it is not so fragile, and lid should have a stopper built on it so that it just stays on.

It worked well, but one of my other bone china teacups fell against it in the dishwasher and it cracked. The regular cup didn't even get a scratch. Improve the quality...UPDATE: Talk about good customer service.. after what was described above, I had written this off as a loss. Imagine my surprise, when I received a message offering a full refund. While I will leave the product rating as is, I will DEFINITELY give the seller a 5 star rating for exceptional customer service. Wow!!
