It does NOT shoot sparks out of it like the video shows. Nor does it make that crackling noise like electricity is coming out of it. It just has a blinking white light and must make a sound humans can’t hear. Some of the cats didn’t like it. Many other walked right up to it nose to nose to check it out and see what it was

Solar works, but cats keep coming and walk right past it and poop in our yard still. Not great or won’t the price tags. If $5, would be worth it.

For the most part this unit I assume does work. But the build quality is poor. I live in Texas and the weather gets very hot. These units do not operate well in hot weather. Also the clear covering of the solar panel looks like it cracked after getting just water on it. If you look at the reviews, they are about other products, not this unit. So the overall rating is way inflated. Like I said, if you live in a hot area, I would not buy this unit. Look for a different one that can operate in hot weather.

Quit Working After 2 Weeks

My husband actually found animal feces within a foot of the product.

These types of deterrents work, however three of the four of this brand stopped working in less than 48 hours. One stopped working within 24 hours of setting it up. Amazon was sending me a replacement for the first one but now two more stopped working. This is unacceptable. I will just return all of them and get more from a better company. Don’t buy these get another brand.
