Light and compact for a great price
To find a backpacking tent this light you have to spend a lot or take a chance on a brand you don't know.I took this on a 3 night backpacking trip and was very pleased. It is tight for two, perfect for one with pack. Packed it is shorter than other low-end lightweight dome tents. It is easy to set up. The fabric is light, so I have no doubt that you could easily puncture the sleeves with the poles if you weren't careful. Like all tents, you can easily catch the lining in the zipper if you aren't careful, but I otherwise found the zippers to be fine. Great little tent.Important note: I have not used this in the rain yet, so I have no idea how it performs for water-resistance.

Grand Canyon 4 day Rim to Rim Hike Approved!!
When I first purchased this tent the things that appealed to me was the price and how lightweight it was. I bought it for a 4 day, 3 night rim to rim Grand Canyon hike and really didn't have high expectations. I have never put a tent up in my life so I put it together at home before the trip and it was incredibly easy to assemble. It's super lightweight and compact when rolled up into it's bag which made it perfect for backpacking. We didn't have high hopes of it being very rain proof, but we had rain two out of the three nights in the canyon and only during the second storm did I have an insignificant amount of rain get inside. I had the tent to myself, which was more than enough room for me and my gear, but my companions bought the same tent for the both of them and they felt like it was exceptionally roomy. I think if you were super tall it would probably be a little tight, but I'm 5'6" and had room to spare. I did not buy a foot print for this tent and the flooring didn't have a single hole or rip in it at the end. After looking at expensive REI tents this felt like a reasonable gamble, but honestly for the price this tent is an amazing value for how well it worked for us. I 1,000,000% recommend!

Decent tent, provides shelter.
Light weight and compact tent I got it for backpacking I do week long backpacking trips every year so it's going to get a lot of use. It worked for me without issue besides the zipper did get stuck once I thought I was gonna break it but got it unstuck and applied chapstick to the zipper which seemed to fix the issue. Slept me and my step dad no problem I'm 5 foot 11 he's 6 foot tall.

PERFECT tent (after waterproofing)!!
I recently took a 2 week road trip from Tennessee to Nevada, and spent the majority of my nights camping. This tent held up AMAZINGLY; for the price, I was shocked by its durability. It is very compact and lightweight when packed, and surprisingly roomy. I’m only 5’1”, but I never felt cramped and had plenty of room, even with my dog, her bed, and all of my gear. There aren’t any compartments or pockets on the inside, but there is a hook on the ceiling of the tent that you could hang a lightweight lantern or battery operated fan from. Ventilation leaves a bit to be desired, but I spent most nights with the outer doors open but the screen ones zipped for more airflow (it was early-mid August and HOT) so I was fine. Speaking of weather, the only flaw with this tent is the water resistance, but I took some preliminary steps upon reading some reviews to ensure I never ran into any issues. Before I left for my trip, I purchased a couple cans of waterproofing spray and a tube of waterproof silicone sealant. I sealed every seam and went over the entirety of the tent twice with the spray, making sure that every inch (including both sides of the rainfly for good measure) was completely saturated. The entire process only took an hour. I let it cure on my porch for 2 full days. The last night of my trip, it rained nonstop ALL night, and not a single drop of water got inside the tent. All of my stuff, my dog, and I stayed completely dry and comfortable. The tent also endured some pretty heavy winds, and did wonderfully. The waterproofing spray I purchased was only $7 from Amazon (Kiwi brand) and the sealant was around $11 (SeamGrip brand). One review I read for this tent only used the spray and not the sealant and never ran into any issues, so just the two cans of spray would probably suffice! I just wanted to be absolutely certain. It is definitely worth spending the extra little bit of money to ensure you stay dry, because after waterproofing, this tent is PERFECT. I also was able to find a footprint with the exact dimensions of the tent (55x83) on Amazon by the brand Redcamp for $18, which really helped with staking this tent into the ground and protecting the bottom of the tent from the elements. I am extremely impressed with the quality, especially for such a low price. I highly recommend this product, but only if you’re willing to spend the extra little bit of time and money to waterproof it!

Use with a tarp or poncho
This tent is extremely lightweight and durable. It’s very roomy inside. There’s only one problem. It’s not waterproof. There’s an easy solution. Buy a camping tarp or military poncho (to use like a tarp). Pitch the tent under the tarp or poncho and you’ll be just as dry as you would be under the most expensive tent. I love this particular design. It’s quick and easy to erect. It’s free standing so it’s up to you whether you want to stake it down or not. It’s durable. I camped in this type of tent in vicious winds high in the Guadelupe Mountains in Texas. It held up fine. I have a lot of these types of tents because I love them and they’re inexpensive. They come in many colors. Buy a bright colored one so you don’t get run over while car camping. Buy a green one for backpacking. Buy a camouflage one for stealth camping. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

light weight
Although the tent is lightweight, a very nice feature, it is easy to assemble too, but there are no packets to organize. The tent remained very wet outside, and tones of condensation or water penetrated inside that needed to be dried inside out in the morning.
