We used this box on our recent trip to Europe and bought a second one for a family member. Rather than using the hotel safe for our valuables, we attached it to the pipes under the sink. The box was easy to use, sturdy, and provided great peace of mind on our trip. The storage capacity was just enough for our cash, keys, and a few other small items. The code was easy to reset and the box stayed locked without issue.

The safe was received exactly as described. The lock opened with the default combination (you pull on the lock front and it flips up) and after breaking the seal, the box opened easily. I had no problems setting the combination for myself. Instructions are included and can also be seen in the photos for the safe. The cable to secure the safe to something comes inside the safe. This would be perfect for keeping your wallet, keys, and sunglasses safe at the pool as long as you use the cable to keep someone from walking off with it.Keep your expectations realistic though. This is a plastic box with a metal lock on it. The lock is the strongest piece. If someone wants to get in to it, they can cut through the plastic with a saw or thermal lance. It's not going to stop someone that's determined, but it's going to keep kids at the pool from walking off with your stuff.I am planning on getting these for family members as gifts. Very happy with my purchase.

**I'm coming back to revise because while the first box didn't work anything like I had hoped, the company was in contact with me and sent me a replacement that works much better. I'm all for promoting a company who has great customer service, and they do. Thinking that the box I got the first time was faulty. **This box would have been perfect for my trip to Cancun next Sunday. I received it yesterday. Opened it and everything looked good and how it was supposed to be. To take the password off default and put your own in, you have to slide a button on the bottom of the locking mechanism from A to B. This button is VERY, VERY hard to slide over. That in itself wasn't even really an issue. But I finally got it to slide into slot B and turned the numbers to change the password in it. Did that and slid it back to slot A only to realize it would not close. At ALL. I tried everything I could. I even went to put it back to the default password thinking I did something wrong. Could not get it to open. Perfect size and ok price but not a great product.

I ordered and had this for delivered today. Was all excited but I'm having difficulty with the reset button to make my new code. So they're sending me another one. Then I will see how that one works. I expected it will work well. Then I will change the review on this. Hopefully. They were nice enough though to let me keep this one to have and send me another one. Because that's what I asked for. It looked pretty sturdy I like it but it even though it's got a factory defect on reset button. I expect to be happy when I get the new one. Got my new lock box today I love it absolutely love it! It works terrifically and it's very sturdy better than my safe even t.

Very law quality product. Very difficult to use. Difficulty moving the switch from position A to B. Hard to even close the box. We lost confidence in this product to the degree that we won’t be able to open the box after putting valuable things in it.

We used ours are entire cruise. Good for excursions and reserving your chair (reasonably of course)
