IT DOES WORK!! I saw this on Tik Tok but couldn’t tell if it was legit bc paid partnerships 🙄 but I’ve truly seen such a difference and it’s been 4 weeks. I exfoliate and shave then use it on my legs under arms and bikini line. I started off with level 3 bc I was scared af about how much it would hurt but I didn’t even feel it. Level 4 was the same thing. I’m up to level 5 on all areas and some parts are more sensitive than others, but the worst pain I’ve felt is like a mild rubber band slap but it’s really not that bad at all. Listen I used to have to shave EVERY DAY. Razor bumps in grown hairs the whole nine. Within 5 hours I felt stubble and it was a nightmare in the summer. After just 4 weeks I’ve seen a huge difference. I do it once every week and there’s barely any hair on my legs when I have to shave again the next week. My underarms and bikini area are a little more stubborn (not by much) but I have 6 weeks left of consistent use before it’s supposed to switch to once a month maintenance. A $200 investment instead of weeks and weeks of salon treatments is SO worth it to me. And it truly does work. It takes me about 1 hour to do my whole body. Definitely a commitment but once a week for an hour? I can handle that. It comes with sunglasses a razor and all the chords you need and they’re long enough you can plug it in and sit on the couch and watch a show while you’re doing it. My skin doesn’t burn after, and it doesn’t irritate me either and I have pretty sensitive pale skin. Most I’ve gotten is a little redness on my bikini line after my first use. I highly highly recommend this to literally anyone. It’s easy to use and way cheaper in the long run. BUY IT!!

I've been looking at the various brands of IPL out there and this is the one I selected to try. I was able to get next day free shipping where ai live which was fantastic since I was so eager to try it. I have light to medium dark skin tone and coarse, dark hair on my body. It apparently matters as per the instructions and other reading I've done, Skin that is extremely melanin rich can be damaged and hair that is very fine, pale or naturally red can have just plain old ineffective results. I can only speculate that these above mentioned incompatabilities are possibly why some end up with negative oppinions about IFL. There's still other options available for long term hair removal in these cases, you just need to do a bit of research. That being said, I used my Ulike for the first time tonight and in my oppinion it was simple to use. I did not experience any discomfort and have not seen or felt any skin irritation. So far I like this gaget. It stayed cool during use on both legs. Legit, no pain. If all still seems well today, I'm gonna try it on my bikini line, pits and maybe my chin. So far, so good altho obviously too soon to report on results. I plan to update after a few weeks of use. To be continued... UPDATE: I've had the device for some time now. I used it inconsistently but used it several times. There is a noticeable difference even with infrequent use. The hair on my legs grows so slowly and in some areas not at all. It definitely works. I shave maybe once a week instead of daily now. I won't lie.. I haven't used it in months but if I go to more regimented use after each shave, I'm confident it will give even better results. I'm just lazy lol. It was painless on pits and bikini line. The only place that caused pain was a quick accidental pass across a tattoo. You can't use it over tattooed skin!! OMG it burned for a good 30 seconds. I still recommend the Ulike. I'll make it my New Year resolution since it's one I can probably actually keep and report back.

I used this diligently when I first got it and noticed SIGNIFICANT results on my stomach after about 2 or so mobths of use, major reduction in hair growth. I basically stopped using it once summer hit, knowing I'd be out in the sun a lot more and just didn't want to have to think too much about sun exposure. It's been a few months without use at this point, and I just got to the point where I need to start shaving again. Awesome! I'm sure results would be even better if I'd had more use in before stopping, and if I kept up with maintenance zaps. Will be starting up again now that summer is winding down! I also used it on my upper lip and my chin; upper lip results were also great, major reduction in growth and I can still go a few weeks without having to shave or anything. Chin results were so-so, which I expected since it's a hormonal problem. Definitely still a reduction in growth and could go a a few days between shaves instead of having to do daily maintenance. I do feel like results would have been better with continued use, but again, summer hit and I stopped treatments. Overall, don't expect a cure all, but in my opinion it was worth the one-time cost for an overall reduction in hair growth. It takes a while to see results, but stay on top of it an you will!

This hair removal device works! I have medium skin tone and mostly blondish/light brown hair. But darker hairs started growing here and there around my upper lip and chin. Yikes! I used to pluck (ouch) and pluck(too often) but as I age I can't see as well. So I tried this. This machine does not work on blonde hairs or peach fuzz. But it does work, even on light brown hairs as long as there is contrast between your skin color and the hairs. This does NOT hurt! Very comfortable to use. I used on level three on my face every other day for three weeks, then moved to level four. I used it more often than the manufacturer brochure states. I have no adverse reaction to using it more frequently. Actually, it made it work even faster. I have noticed a marked reduction in the number of hairs on my face! No more plucking, no more worrying that I have some stray hair showing! I highly recommend this. It is an investment, but as long as your hairs and skin are different colors, it will work.

I was very excited to buy this device since I compared it to so many other laser products and it seemed promising based on all its reviews. However, after using it specifically on chin hair that has been darker and growing more and more, I'm highly disappointed because it seems that shaving before lasering 3 times a week every week, made things much worse! I had to shave every other day before laser and I was using it 3 times a week for two months without any results and actually having thicker hair and more ingrowns and skin irritation than ever before! I think the light that flashes may be just for show and I am starting to think that it's not working at all. I never even felt like it was even hurting (or that strong rubber band feeling at least), so it leads me to think that this product may be defective. The return period has passed, so I am now stuck with a laser device that only made things worse rather than helped in area like chin where it's very important that it works, so that I don't have to shave like a man (I'm a woman btw) or pluck the stubborn thick coarse hairs constantly. Btw, they were not this thick and coarse before the laser. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money and now my chin is always breaking out and rough.

Hi, I don’t write a lot of reviews but I felt this warranted my time since I read all the mixed reviews before I purchased. Let me start by apologizing for the length of this, but I didn’t have high expectations for an at home device - they don’t usually give great results so I just want to share how I’m using it and my results. I decided to give it a chance based on one person’s review showing her results on her face and her including info on how exactly she was using it. I think this made a big difference. One other theme I saw in reviews was you have to be consistent and I think this has also been a big factor in my experience. I bought this June 3 and received it the next day. And I used it that day for my bikini line and lower legs and have been using it pretty consistently every 3-4 days. Today is June 25 and I can say without a doubt I am seeing results. I know what the directions say on how to apply, and I don’t want anyone to try anything that could hurt them, so please test your own skin properly, but I’ve had professional laser hair removal on my bikini line so I felt safe going above the instruction manual from the start. I started with level 5 power doing 2 passes of single pulses over the bikini region and lower legs. I am pretty thorough and I slightly overlap each spot. I have since increased to 3 passes and I do this every 3-4 days. The results are undeniable even in this short amount of time. Like I don’t have to shave between applications whereas I used to have to shave daily. At first I wondered if it was working so well because I’ve already had laser hair removal, thus the hair is already less dense and finer, but even since having the laser hair removal I still have to shave every day whereas now I don’t. And my lower legs that have never been waxed or professionally treated for hair removal are even different. Regrowth of the hair has decreased significantly to where I can still feel smooth spots 2-3 days after shaving - haven’t had that since my early 20s probably! The only reasons I haven’t done my full legs is 1: because I do 3 passes it takes a while and 2: the hair from my knees up is very fine so it’s easy to shave. Hope you find this helpful. For me, this device was worth the investment!

As a transwoman who is forced to stay closeted offline, I needed a solution to the gender dysphoria being caused by body and facial hair and settled on this IPL device to help reduce hair growth with hopes of managing some degrees of permanency if possible. I was particularly excited when the instructions warned men against using on their face as the results could be permanent. 18 weeks later though and the disappointments have piled up. When I started using the product I followed the weekly session instructions and started to find progress on most of my body after about 6 weeks. By the time I reached the end of the 12-week program Most of my body hair growth had been almost completely eliminated. There were only a few stubborn areas that I knew would require pushing the optional 20-week program. Then there was my facial hair. After 18 weeks there is barely any sign of progress slowing down the growth of my facial hair, and I barely have any to begin with. I can't grow a full beard, yet this product has barely made a difference in the amount of hair I grow on my face. It hasn't slowed it down at all and I typically fully regrow the maximum limit of my facial hair between sessions. As these are weekly sessions it could not be more disappointing. Worse, the monthly upkeep I was supposed to switch to for the rest of my body has almost completely reverted to full weekly sessions again as the effects of the hair reduction seem to be fading. While I'm no longer using as powerful of a setting for maintenance due to time constraints, that I've had to switch to weekly maintenance is a far cry from what I had hoped for. On the subject of power, the speed the product is advertised as having is only possible on the weakest setting. As you increase the power, the time between flashes gets significantly longer making covering large areas in a timely manner impossible. The automatic flash option does not help much either as you have to keep the flash activation button depressed for the automatic mode to function. As the device is shaped like some shampoo bottles, this quickly become uncomfortable and leaves me having to hold the device in ways that are not ideal around some areas. The product itself is not particularly durable either unfortunately. I have hard floors, and a short drop caused a cracking of the case the required me to trim and file the plastic to prevent it from scraping me while operating the device. The storage case on the other hand is sturdy little case that I've had all of no problems with. Ultimately, the product did work, but regression, lack of true automatic flashes, and no real effect on facial hair leaves me finding the product to be only a bare minimum device in functionality with too many frustrations to make it worth recommending.

I bought this product and started using it 6 weeks ago. I had been wanting to get an ipl for a couple of years but didn’t want to waste my money on it if it didn’t work. I have been pleasantly surprised!! This is so worth every penny. I have been using it every other day, shaving smooth prior to use each time. I use it on my full legs, Brazilian area, and armpits. I am fair skinned but have an olive undertone and my hair is dark. I noticed some results within a few weeks. I just went on vacation last week and I didn’t need to shave my legs once. I couldn’t see hair growth on them and they felt pretty smooth but I did notice I have some blonder hairs which were growing in sparsely but you really can’t see those ones. My brazillian area is a little more stubborn, but I can tell the hair is growing slower and more patchy. I’m hopeful that after using the full 12 weeks that area will be hair free as well! I used to have to shave every single day to not feel stubble on my legs and I would get razor burn so often. Now I won’t have to worry about that anymore . This product is a lifesaver!
