Great foe emergency situations
David has hit a home run with this radio. Itâs small and easy to find due to bright orange color, and has at least 5 ways to charge. I especially like the flashlight, radio, and short-wave radio. Itâs a valuable addition to our hurricane supplies. Living on the Gulf Coast, one must be ready for storms. I charged this radio up the day I received it. It works great. I found our one and only radio station and the reception is great. You can use a usb cord to charge your phone. A must have for readiness these days.

Not just for emergencies!
TLDR: This little radio packs a lot of features into one compact and handy little package that is useful for everyday lifeânot only for emergencies! â I used to have a similar solar hand crank powered radio that I left on the windowsill to listen to and de-stress while doing dishes. It served me faithfully for years. Then my toddler decided to âuseâ the hand crank. Right off the radio. Argh! No wonder I need to de-stress! This one has plenty of features packed into it that my old one didnât have and at a VERY reasonable price. The digital tuning is so helpful to quickly find my favorite station. Old one had one of those old school dial with a tuner indicator that showed a ballpark approximation of where you were tuned. It could be a headache to figure out where the station was. It sounded something like, âstaticstaticstatic NOTHINâ BUT COUNTRY staticstaticstatic DISCO OLDIES ALL DAY staticstaticstaticâŠ.â The display clearly shows which band youâre on. Old one had a knob and teeeeeeeny tiiiiiiiny little dial that didnât line up right, so again, itâs a guessing game. The crank and solar are neatly installed into the side of ths machine so (hopefully) it will survive the zombie toddler apocalypse. Sound is comparable to one of those little old-school portable radios. No, itâs not a Bose surround sound system, but solid and clear for the price and the digital tuner really does help get a nice clear signal. I put the charger cord on the little clip on the end, so I wouldnât lose it. My old radio didnât even come with a charge cord! You really canât beat this radio in terms of features anywhere near this price point.

Emergency. Radio
I was searching during a power outage,, for a radio to use in an emergency, as I usually do I was shopping on Amazon I looked at several radios, and I chose the one that I did because it cost double what the others cost, so naturally I thought it would be a lot better, it will only pick up one or two stations on FM and I couldn't find any on a.m. and so far I have not received any emergency alerts so I don't know if that works or not. I never like to give an item only one star because it brings it down so far,,, so I went ahead and gave it four stars but it only deserves one. I am disappointed in this little radio it just don't work to suit me, and it has a crank to give it power supposedly if you crank it up,, I cranked it 100 times when the battery was dead, and that only gave it enough power to run exactly 1 minute because I timed it,, so the crank is a joke. I do not know if the solar panel works or not, I haven't had it out in the sunshine when it went dead I recharged it with the USB port and haven't tried to see how long it lasts. I shop a lot with Amazon but this is the most disappointment I have had with them. Ronald s Hartwell Rock West Virginia

Nice Radio
I'm glad I heard Southern Prepper 1 mention his radio. It works great, has good reception, it came with a USB charging cable, or can be hand cranked or charge with solar. I would buy this again!

The best emergency radio to have! đ»
This radio is amazing! I love all the features very user friendly and has all you need in one device. I spent the same amount on another similar radio that did not have half the features this one does so it is a great value for your money. Great idea for a Christmas gift for your family this year! Thank you so much for this product đ â€

Could be better.
The quality of this product is not what I expected for the price. It is awfully light weight and the plastic seems cheap. The reception is quite good and it was easy to set up. Disappointing that it does not take regular batteries for times when the power is out and rechargeable battery cannot be charged.
