Beautifully carved and enjoyed, takes some breath work, only thing I say is my bit of an issue is that the holes are a little too big, or I'm holding it wrong with the finger placement. It sounds absolutely lovely and sweet, and I enjoyed this a lot, even if it's gonna take a little work to git gud son 😜 It's worth it, just know you gotta be pretty well off in breath work/practices. It's a nice piece of wood carved with love and I love that the most. Worth it, if you'll invest in yourself this way.

Horrible purchase. Opened up the package. It was raw wood not even finished, the holes that were drilled out weren't even cleaned up it still had splinters. #1 Only 2 holes play notes #2 only 3 holes play notes. I've been considering buying a wooden flute for a few years now and this was a major let down. Terrible quality period

The sound is terrible, and the Holes require more work. It has a nice appearance, however the flute requires more work because the mouthpiece is not properly made. It is preferable to purchase from an American company that traditionally manufactures flutes in the traditional manner. This purchase left me very disappointed.

It sounds good and looks pretty. My daughter complains about the smell, so I took off one star for that.

I wasn't expecting this handmade instrument to play so well. It plays almost the same as the factory-made lower-keyed Irish tin whistles. I use the exact same music and the same playing style as I do with my Irish tin whistles and the low whistles. I say that this "Indian Glance Traditional Wooden Flute" from India is appropriate for any age. I could have learned on this handmade 6-hole flute instead of on the Irish Tin Whistles manufactured in a factory. You use the breath control as you do for the low whistles. This is a satisfactory purchase and I will enjoy playing it for many years. If you play professionally, then you want the ones made in the factory.

Looks pretty with nice carvings. Sound - only 1 hole changes the tune. As John Arbuckle use to say, "You get what you pay for".

Well… the carving work is beautiful and it looks great…. Except for the fact that it doesn’t sound great… because the precision of hole placement for the center was off it makes it difficult to get a good sound out of it. Otherwise it was a good gift for my father-in-law
