Our windows are small so the plastic that comes with the portable ac is slightly too small. I had to cut it and use window insulation tape which would lose its seal during really hot weather, sun and the heat from exhaust. With this I have an easy, perfect seal. I can detach it in seconds from the Velcro and put it back easily if I want to open my window on a nice day. No mess full of sticky residue left behind. Keeps heat out.

My finished basement has larger than normal basement windows but are still small, I ordered this to see if I would have any luck setting up a portable a/c and hooray, works like a charm, was so easy to install. I put the a/c on top of an iron coffee table as the vent tube is too short to leave on the floor. I’m so happy!!

Been a big help with our portable AC and placement versus using the hard plastic kit that would always fall out the window. Only drawback make sure not a lot of pressure pulling in a different direction. Keep hose to window short and not to extended.

I was a bit skeptical on how well this would work but it has worked great. None of the vented air comes back into the house, it is much more secure/sealed than I anticipated. Ended up working way better than other window kits for my windows as my windows are super narrow. Most other window kits are too long, fall out, etc. This was a great purchase

I had to buy window seal tape to try to get to the air condition seal in the window. At first use just the Velcro and the items from the original packaging. It fell out of the window. I went to the store and bought windowsill tape. It fell again. It looks like when the window gets hot. The Velcro will not adhere to the window frame.

For the price point, I shouldn’t have had too high of expectations. I posted photos of the issues:-There’s holes in the inseams.-The zipper area that the company advertised that no bugs should get through… bugs can still get through. My maintenance guy had to use a lot of the Velcro tape that was provided to close as much of the hole. Three days later. The zipper moved and the hole got bigger.

Works great if you have one of those god-awful air coditioners with the stupid hose. This product worked swimmingly but holy crap, do yourself a favor and get a proper window unit if you don't have HVAC. Not only is a window unit more reliable and easy to fix, you won't have to fumble with those annoying intake and drainage hoses again.

OMG!! So glad I stumbled onto this great product for my portable AC. It works so much better than the plastic piece that comes with the unit. Took 10 minutes to install. I love how the hose stays secured and you don’t have to worry about it falling out.You can peel back the Velcro from the window if you need to close the window for any reason.I bought more than one and installed in multiple rooms making my portable AC truly portable.
