Great for watercolor painting!
Great Hake brushes! Mine weren't saturated with glue, so I only needed to swirl them in room temperature water to get ready for watercolor painting. I didn't experience any hair loss and they come to a finely chiseled edge. These brushes hold lots of water and paint and can be used for the fast and loose water color painting style.

Nice Brushes But Not Very Absorbent
The brushes are very well made, however they are not very absorbent. I use them to wet the paper for watercolor, but it would miss spots and I would have to dip multiple times in the water or use a spray bottle.

Must have brushes
Will be using these for many years. I love Hake brushes and these are made very well. There is no shedding and it holds water well.

This brush set was purchased for watercolor use. If you are looking for hake brushes look no further. I have used them all and I can't say enough good things about them. If I damage or lose them I will buy more! A+

Shredding brushes
Nothing good to say about these. I would not recommend buying them unless you don’t mind picking the hair off your project. They shed worse than my cat in spring
