Unique, sharp, unobtrusive
My son loves to write, but still makes mistakes, we loved this mechanical pencil for its sharp looks that make it seem like a normal pencil but the added function of a mechanical. We love that it's real wood on the outside. Easy to hold, and not overly heavy, Comfortable to use and seems durable. Price was fair!

Very cute, lightweight
Looks exactly like the product image. As another review noted, there are two metal pieces at the top that can clang against eachother a bit while the pencil is being used. Other than that, I think the pencil is perfect. Love the look, the material (real wood and metal, no plastic), and the light weight.

So far a great pencil
I collect mechanical pencils, partly because the look cool and sharpen wit ha click and partly because an old professor told me professionals never use them in art and I have been doing so now for years. This one is beautiful to look at, light (almost to light) and performs well. I really like it over all and am happy I got one.

Elevate your desk with this mechanical pencil!
I love items that remind me of yesteryear but are also functional. I love these pencils so much because they look like a real pencil (also made from real wood), but are mechanical. I used to always use those old school Bic mechanical pencils but these are so much cooler and really bring an elegant vibe to my desk.

Good pencil but the eraser is rattle-y
The pencil is pretty much what I've been looking for. I use mechanical pencils a lot but I like the style of wooden pencils. I might end up getting the yellow version too. Like all other reviews, there is some rattling from the eraser. I had my own way of fixing the problem. It's about as long as a barely sharpened "my first" ticonderoga, my favorite wooden pencil of all time. I just wish they made a mechanical pencil version of it. This will do though.

Stealth mechanical penil
IF mechanical pencils were ever outlawed (it could happen if some political party were always using mechanical pencilsand it's rival party came into power -- idn't eople try to make red hats illegal or forbidden? see?) anyway, if that ridiculous thing I just said were to happen, THIS pencil would be the thing to have. It's a stealth mechanical pencil that looks, feels, and even smells like a real wooden pencil. It works great! Is easy to use and refill and is as light as a real pencil. I love it.The lead that comes with it is smooth and dark and doesn't catch on paper as you write. The eraser can be tricker to use because you push it to advance the lead, so don't press too hard when erasing.

Looks cool!
This is a cool looking mechanical pencil. It does the job well in addition to the looks.

Yeah, it's cute...but as a fine writing instrument it's fairly mediocre.
It's a mechanical pencil that's made to look like an old fashioned graphite one. Nothing to "write home about".
