Quality I’ve used this pump to move water out of a flooded basement area and later to drain a small pond, and the overall quality feels solid. I use this product to drain my pond so I could clean it out. It worked great. The performance was outstanding. It drained my Pond completely empty in less than 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at its performance and couldn’t believe how much water it was pumping out and how high the flow rate was. I highly recommend this product if you need to drain your pond or pool it’s perfect and we’ll do the job very well.

Great utility pump. I had some standing water in a drained pool from recent storms, and used the pump to transfer the water out. It worked great. I'm glad I bought this pump, and the price was a bargain compared to the big box retail hardware stores.

The only negative is the 10 ft cord, even 15 or 20 would have been much better. Positives? Well I cant believe it but I not only think this thing can do 4800 gallons per hour I actually think it does more! Its amazing. It can drain my pool faster than the huge rentals I usually use. First I tried it with one of those small metal hoses that have a smaller diameter than a normal garden hose. Unit worked and was quiet despite sitting mostly out of the water and pushing water through a straw basically, it took 6 hours to lower the pool an inch. Then I took a 1 1/2 inch blue pool draining hose and just zip tied it to this unit. I could not believe it, I have to actually sit with this thing its so powerful. You can almost watch the pool level dropping in the pool! 5-10 minutes it did what the little hose took 4-6 hours to do. Only issue was the water could not seep into the ground fast enough, if not running to sewer you really have to baby sit this beast. This thing is sleek looking, not that it matters but also feels like its built solid. It comes with a decent range of adapters. Its really meant to have a 1 1/2 hose strapped to it in order to really take advantage of this beast. For reference my backwash drain is out of action so I got this to drain my pool from the top to lower CYA levels. Only star I knock off is for the 10 ft cord. Some pools are 8 feet deep. You just have to be careful and keep that junction with the extension cord out of the water. I cant say anything about reliability yet but if you are wondering if it can really move that much water, what it claims to? Yes it does. Just pick up a 1 1/2 inch hose, make sure its long enough as this thing really moves water. Noise level? What noise level, you can barely hear it out of the water.

Strong pump. I have been using it for over a year and it's still reliable, definitely lasts long. 1 horse power is enough to run a house or garden hose. It's compact. Very consistent flow and pressure

Only run this thing submerged, and only run it while watching it. It will empty out a bathtub in seconds. If you let air get in it the wrong way it can mess it up.

WoW! This pump is great. We needed to drain our hot tub to refill, and I had seen a video that recommended this pump. I had the hose and it clamped right onto the biggest drain hole on the pump. This pump is SO powerful. I didn't believe that it would drain our tub in 15 minutes -- and it would have if I had prepared properly. Super important to ensure the hose is laid flat and the most direct route. A straight shot is the best. If not laid out right, the hose kinks up and you can get hurt! It is so powerful the device wants to tilt over in the bottom of the tub, we used something to hold it down and wow, what a great job this did. Super easy to use! There is no noise as it is underwater. Great value for this price -- delivered the same day made it so easy to finish the job! I would have taken a video but a storm was imminent! Changing the water in our stock pool is next, going to try the water hose since the pool is smaller!

I bought the pump to drain the pool (20K+ gallons), it took almost 2 days to drain the pool using the garden hose, if you can use a bigger flex pipe then it would be faster. Pump worked without any hitch, not too heavy or too lite, feels well constructed with quality materials, so far I have only used once and it did the job perfectly for my needs. It was very easy to assemble, mostly plug and play, supplied adapters are very adequate for most tasks. I wish the power cord could have been little longer.

I'm using this pump to drain my back yard rink and it is doing a great job. Completely silent operation. Connected it to a regular garden hose and it is pumping the water about 125 feet to the street. I've rented pumps from Home Depot in the past for $20 per day and they were loud. This pump will pay for itself after just a few uses. Very nice piece of equipment.

I just had a flood in the basement. So I ordered this Water Pump the next day to drain the basement. And my god, it's so much faster and better. Extremely convenient. It beats any manual labor I had to do the day prior. It doesn't come with a hose and I recommend those who do to get the 100ft hose expandable hose (it's too short unexpanded) in order to extend from basement to outside. There is no on/off on this model. As soon as you plug into the outlet it starts draining. Pretty straight forward.

The item does not have a power even close to what it claims. It was received with a Crack in the body but i tried to cover the crack to test the power to decide to return or ask for replacement. It is weaker than a tenth of what it claims but might be okay for very small jobs.
